clean room. ice machine not working so could not bring back food for later. coffee maker leaked water all over. TV remote was missing the back and batteries kept falling out and I gave up trying to change the channel after 10 minutes. They didn't have any spares.They refused to give me a receipt which I need to be reimbursed from work.

The first thing that happened was we were assigned to a room that was already occupied. That should have been our clue! This is a very dated hotel, our toilet was stopped up, the shower handle literally fell off while I was showering. I had to leave it running, go downstairs and lodge my complaint with wet hair. Another complaint the blow dryer did not work. The room does not have a working phone so each time I needed assistance I had to walk downstairs. The room did not have working plugs close to the bed. It was also very noisy. The staff was good to get things fixed, (toilet and shower) definitely a plus. It is very close to Times Square- another plus.

Overall, our experience wasn’t what we expected. The room wasn’t in the best conditions, there were cleanliness and engineering issues present; the day staff was ok but the overnight agents weren’t helpful at all. The only good part was the location.

I wanted to give a poor rating because Saturday and Sunday they put me on a floor where the locks on the doors needed repair. The lock on my door was very very poor and not safe. I felt like it was because I’m a black person therefore I was given this room. When I paid to stay another day the gentleman at the desk Sunday morning was very polite he offered me another room and explained to me the locks were in need of repair. He brought the subject up to me about the locks. I believe that was very kind, professional and caring for him to offer me another room and explained why without me having to ask.

Room was bad. There was pain missing or peeling in multiple places, exposed wires on the floor and electrical sockets with no covering at all. To top it off rust all over the bathroom.

- bugs in the shower - mold in the shower - so dusty. would wake up coughing. head hurting. - dirty bed sheets - was on the 10th floor but heavy sewer smell - dirty towels with stains and hair on them - shower gross - wallpaper peeling - paint bubbles - painted over mold - heater & ac doesn’t even work. thermostat broken. - sink slow draining - honestly might have bed bugs - room wasn’t properly cleaned there was hair in the shower, & on sink & floor at check in. sticky dirty floor. - hvac torn out - outlets didn’t work was very lose didn’t charge my phone it was stuck on same percentage - room phone wasn’t working - bed is absolutely horrible mattress woke up back & neck hurting. flat ahh pillows - front desk agent doesn’t answer phone - rude front desk receptionists
