No smoking. . Dating back to the 1850s, this beautiful, mid-terraced cottage makes the most comfortable and cosy holiday home situated between the borders of Staffordshire, Shropshire and Cheshire. Each and every room has been lovingly and stylishly furnished enhancing original features with a modern day twist, whilst retaining a wonderful homely feel.
Located opposite the Keele University, it lies in an area surrounded by some of the most stunning countryside, whilst being just 5 miles from the bustling city of Stoke-on-Trent. A wide range of amenities including theatres, country parks, markets and mouth-watering menus can also be found in the nearby market town of Newcastle-under-Lyme which is a mere 5-minute drive. The local area offers attractions galore and accommodates most tastes with everything from adrenaline rides to pottery tours. Within a 45-minute drive is Whitmore Hall (5 mins), Trentham Gardens and Monkey Forest (15 mins), the World of Wedgewood (20 mins), Emma Bridgewater Factory (20 mins), Churnet Valley Steam Railway (35 mins) and Alton Towers (40 mins). You can reach the southern end of the Peak District National Park in around a 45-minute drive and the cities of Chester, Manchester and Birmingham in around an hour.
