Mountaintop Cabin with Majestic Views - Hot Tub + Game Room + Pet Friendly

Welcome to The Overlook, a spectacular 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home that sits charmingly perched at over 4,400 feet of elevation, and offers 270 degrees of unrivaled mountain views. Adore magnificent views of Grandfather Mountain, Sugar Mountain, and several other nearby mountain ranges from several vantage points within the home. This home is just a short trip to Boone and Blowing Rock (30 minutes), and offers easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Enjoy a layered horizon, from sunrise to sunset from the amazing wrap around deck, porch swing, or large open concept chalet-style living room. Gather around the outdoor fire pit while you gaze up at the stars. Stay connected to the mountains around you from indoors as well, as the large living room windows flood the space with natural light. The large open-concept kitchen/dining/living room allow you to continue to enjoy the company.

Retreat to the large master bedroom that is outfitted with a king-sized bed, and offers a quite space for an infant/child to sleep. Head downstairs to find three more bedrooms which allow you to comfortably sleep up to 11 people.

Located just steps from the main house you will find our newly renovated game room. This 800 sq. ft barn has converted into the most incredible game room, offering hours of endless family fun.

This place is really in a wonderful location near the top of a high ridge with amazing wide views from everywhere. It’s extremely peaceful. Game room was very fun. The place definitely has some wear and tear with a number of small things broken. There is no air conditioning but probably only needed small portion of the year. Overall, though I would stay there again and would recommend it.

Birthday Weekend Getaway!

This place was awesome! It has the best views!! They were absolutely breathtaking. The ride up the mountain was an adventure.lol But it was everything we needed for the best weekend getaway for our daughter‘s 19th birthday. We’ve stayed in a cabin before in Gatlinburg and they loved spending time in the hot tub and playing games like pool and ping pong etc and this house was the perfect set up for us all to sit around in the game room barn with everyone playing games and spending time together! The hot tub at night was perfect and the lights from the city below was perfect. The house was spacious and nice and had everything you needed - especially if you forgot anything! We stayed in lots of places and this places had things Other places didn’t
 they literally thought of everything! We loved that. The host Chris is very responsive to messages which is great too! We definitely will be coming back for a longer stay!

Outstanding house, view and host!!

Wonderful place to stay. The Mountain view was gorgeous and so was the sunrise. We saw deer, chipmunks, bunnies and groundhogs. Very comfy master room bed. Hot tub view was amazing. Host always replied within 15 minutes. We highly recommend and hope we can stay again.

Great Mountaintop Home

Great views of Grandfather and surrounding mountains from the wraparound porch and main living area! Clean and close many waterfalls and hiking trails. Lots of amenities. Highly recommended and would stay again!

Wonder stay on top of the mountain!

A beautiful house with beautiful views! The house was very clean and very easy to get settled into. The property manager was very prompt and helpful. Would book again 10 out of 10!
