Lighthouse Cottage situated in Trevarrian, Only a five minute drive to the lovely sandy beaches at Mawgan Porth & Watergate Bay this spacious accommodation is in the major part of a 200 year old extended double glazed cottage and provides an ideal base for a family to explore the dramatic coastline and many attractive beaches on the North Cornish Coast.  There is a pub in the hamlet within five minutes walk. Mawgan Porth 1.5 miles has a pub, cafe, surf hire and local store and for a wider selection of amenities the resort of Newquay is 5 miles with many beaches, a zoo, leisure centre, bowling, cinema and aquarium. The famous harbour at Padstow is 9 miles where you can enjoy one of Rick Stein's many eateries, visit the Elizabethan house at Prideaux Place, cycle the Camel trail to Wadebridge or take a ferry across to Rock with access to the beaches at Daymer Bay and Polzeath by foot. For the water enthusiast the Extreme Academy at Watergate Bay is a must!  There are many golf courses in the area too and the National Trust house Trerice and Lappa Valley Railway are within 6 miles. Stay - The Accommodation... From the shared brick paved drive a couple of steep steps and the front door open into the entrance porch with a tiled floor and coat hooks. A further glazed inner door leads into the sitting room with a large double glazed window, wood burning stove and comfortable lounge seating. This light and spacious room leads onto the kitchen through a doorway opening into the bright and modern well equipped fitted kitchen with ample storage. A large archway leads through to the conservatory with a dining suite and an adjacent utility room with W.C.. Sliding patio doors lead out to the securely enclosed walled courtyard garden from the conservatory with a sunny gravel terrace and raised beds. A carpeted staircase leads to the first floor with three light and pleasant bedrooms, a Kingsize double with digital TV, a twin and a single all with storage and a family bathroom W.C with hand basin and shower over the bath. To the front of the property is a shared open brick paved drive with two reserved parking spaces for Lighthouse Cottage. Don't forget... - Crab Cottage (614) can be let in conjunction with Lighthouse Cottage as they are next door to each other. - Fold out bed available at no extra charge - This property welcomes a maximum of three dogs.- Telephone can accept incoming calls only

Having booked your holiday the Agent Cornish Traditional Cottages will process and confirm your booking, the travel directions and arrival information will be sent to you. The travel directions will provide you with the details of the owner / housekeeper and instruction on who to contact a few days before your holiday to make the key arrangements. You will also be given the details of your point of contact should you have any questions or issues whilst on holiday.
