Spectacular Waterfront Gull Lake Cabin and Perfect Location Close to Everything

Newly renovated 4+ Bedroom 3000 sq/ft lakefront cabin perched on top of the western shore of Big Gull Lake. The views from every lakeside room and deck are breathtaking. We will argue the best view on Gull Lake. It's also the perfect location to enjoy Gull Lake and all of the amenities and attractions.
-It's less than a 5 minute walk to the Quarterdeck Resort and Dock 77 Restaurant for meals and drinks anytime. Their large beach can also be used if you want a change of scenery.
-The 26,000 acre Pillsbury State Forest has miles and miles of trails to explore just down the street. Hiking, biking, horse back riding, and snowmobiling.
-Mount Ski Gull is also just a couple minutes away with skiing in the winter and Zip-Line in the summer. If you're a runner, walker or cyclist (like we are) you will be in heaven with all of the options.
-There's also world class golf just minutes away. It's rare to be within walking distance of so many amenities on Gull Lake.

Our 4+ bedroom waterfront cabin is newly renovated with wide open space both up and down stairs. 2 separate living rooms and 2 masters. Our Gull Cabin is ideal for a big family like ours or a couple families. Big kids or small kids. There are 4 big bedrooms plus a nursery/den and it sleeps 12.

-Downstairs. Quarterdeck Room. King Bed+Extra Nursery/Study w/ a Twin Bed/Pack n' Play

Huge open kitchen with lots of counter space and new appliances. Great space to prepare big family meals. Fully stocked and everything you need to prepare gourmet meals. There's seating for everybody and a pool table to pass the time if weather keeps you off the lake. There is a large new dock to swim and fish off. You can also tie your boats up with ease in our boat slip. No lift or tie downs available. The water is shallow for the first 30-40 feet with a nice hard sand bottom and then deepens nicely for watercraft and great fishing. We have deeded access to the Quarterdeck Resort's Boat Launch if you bring a boat (or rent one) and need a convenient place next to the house to launch your watercraft. It also includes access to the Quarterdeck's big beach if you want a change of scenery.

Great cabin with a lake view far enough to feel secluded but close to grocery and amenities. Appreciated the wood burning fireplace in the living room (gas downstairs) and great stocked kitchen. Lots of games for the kids. Wish the stairs down to the lake were accessible in the winter but we made it work. Very comfortable accomodation available last minute in their off season!

The Cabin on Gull Lake was great, clean with a great kitchen for our family dinners. The beds were very comfortable, at least the ones we used. The owner was very responsive and supported our vacation and questions. Was great to have a dock to tie our ski boat for overnight storage. Overall a great place for a family gathering.

2024 Summer Getaway

Loved the home and the location on the lake. We are boaters, so we were out on the lake everyday. The home is well furnished and has plenty of sleeping arrangements. The dock allowed for overnight tie up of our boat, but the stairs down to the water are real. Our family enjoyed 5 days we spent here.

Everything was wonderful minus the 60 steps to the dock and 60 steps back up !! The downstairs was a great place for all 10 of us to watch tv and the dining room table was great for games for all of us.

Our family enjoyed a return visit. We used every inch of space. The accuracy of listing is detailed well. This visit we had smaller family members with us. The steps to the lake are difficult for small children, elders or if you have knee issues. As mentioned in summary of listing the Quarterdeck beach is easy walking distance and has restaurant /patio dining. If someone could share where the walleyes are....that would be helpful!

Very nice house to spend a week on vacation

Plenty of room for our extended family of eight. Large family rooms with comfortable seating and good televisions on the main floor and in the lower level. Plenty of space to get-away if needed. Lots of varied dining locations including dinette area near kitchen, formal dining room, 2 deck tables. Very clean throughout. Nice gas grill with propane included enabled outdoor cooking. We enjoyed the nice firepit. Gull Lake is a nice sized lake to explore but not so large that we needed to travel a long distance to catch fish. I would have given 5 stars if not for: (1) 73 steps from the dock to main floor deck; (2) lawn service started mowing the grass Wednesday at 7:30 AM and then followed up with blowing leaves and seeds off the roof at 8:00 AM; (3) the two queen beds on main floor were comfortable but squeaked loudly. All in all, our family very much enjoyed the house.

3 generations reunion

The process was straight forward and simple. The property had all that was promised. However, up keep on the property was not outstanding. Closet doors were missing screws and hanging loose. Hand rail posts were missing from the staircase to the dock. Poison ivy bordered the yard so that a ball might roll into it. There was dog waste from the last renter still in the grass. This is quite a list but really overall the property met our needs and provided a great place for us to spend some time together and have fun!

We so enjoyed our stay at the Gull Lake Cabin. This cabin has everything you need! We enjoyed cooking most of our dinners during the week. The kitchen is fully stocked. We did bring a few of our favorite kitchen utensils, but that was just so we could use what we were use to. They have both a Keureg and a regular Mr coffee drip coffee maker. Gas grill. We only ate out for a few lunches, just to change things up. We took advantage of the 2nd refrigerator in the garage as well as the beverage refrigerator in the basement. That was nice as we had several meals packed in our coolers! We played many card games and other games on the game table in the basement. We loved the spectacular view of Gull lake from the deck and we ate out on the deck many times. Beds were super comfortable and accommodating for all our guests. Lots of options to stop and get a snacks on Gull Lake. Quarterdeck is just a short walk away, but there is Maddens, Craguns, Grandview Lodge as well as Ernie’s and Zorba’s restaurants. We rented a tri-toon boat from Lake Fun Rentals. Very nice, newer boats. Our adult kids could waterski, wake board and tube behind the boat! We did it all! Will return!

Great Little Christmas Getaway

My family stayed at this cabin during the Christmas holiday. It was in a beautiful location right on Gull Lake with fantastic views. The cabin itself was spacious, clean and comfortable. We did encounter one little hiccup. The first night there, xmas eve, we discovered there was no running water, In a bit of a panic, we tried to get in touch with the property manager and the owner's by calling/texting. After several attempts and an hour plus later, we were able to get in touch with the Owners. They were apologetic and quick to direct us to the mechanical room where we were able to flip a switch and turn the water back on. Thankfully, a quick fix to a potential crisis! This particular week had plagued the state with dangerously cold temps and we were told that the water had likely been shut off so as to not freeze the pipes. The owners were very nice and very helpful, even offering up their suggestions for things to do/see in the area. Our only complaint is that we never at any time heard back from their property manager. While we didn't need his help any longer, it was a little disappointing that he never returned our messages regarding the incident. Overall the cabin, was a delight! It had all the comforts of home, was in a great location and was a fantastic place to enjoy our holiday! We would definitely stay again! Couple minor recommendations: -There was no firewood for our use. I believe it was advertised that there was wood on the premises. We ended up having to run out on xmas day to get firewood -The downstairs was very cold and seemed to not hold the same temp as the upstairs. Not sure how to regulate this, but something to consider if you plan to have large groups, including kids during the winter months
