As my girls would say... 10 out of 10. This was our 6th trip to Grand Cayman and I think we've got it figured out. I love 7 Mile Beach but staying at Kaibo Yacht Club is my new plan from now on. There are trade offs, the beaches at 7 mb are better than this part of the island, but that comes with the crowds. Kaibo is quiet, tranquil and the views are simply incredible. This unit was everything we hoped it would be. Clean, comfortable and the views are truly to die for. We've stayed several times on properties 2-3 times more expensive and Kaibo Yacht Club is my go to from here on out. Lounge chairs on the beach were plentiful, nights were quiet and the drive to 7mb was just part of the adventure. But at the end of every day... we loved coming back to the peace and quiet of this condo. We will absolutely return.

Quiet location, could use updates.

The condo was nice, in a safe, quiet location, and the pool and beach area were very nicely maintained. Things that we would like to have seen or been included would have been more amenities like kick boards, beach toys or kayaks... because some of the other units came with those items. Things that needed to be improved or included in the unit were a working bathtub (could not find drain stop), more paper towels, some laundry detergent, liquid hand soap, wash cloths for the kitchen (only had towels), and more facial cloths for the bath areas (only a few were left for our week stay). It would have been nice to have more furniture for a family of 6. The kitchen area included a nice table for 6, but there was only one living room sofa (which wasn't the most comfortable) for that space. The ottoman for the sofa (without a back) was used for the second piece of furniture. For us, since the balcony was quite small, it would have been nice to have lounge chairs versus a table and chairs, which took up too much space in our opinion. For the most part, the unit was clean; however, the ceramic flooring in the bath areas showed dirt build up around the edges and under sink area.

Paradise

This is a delightful property. It's a second floor end unit and there was no unit above us and it was very quiet. The view from the lanai was to die for. Sunsets looking over the beach and pool were stunning. Only a one minute stroll on the beach over to Kaibo Yacht Club that has a great water front dining area and rum bar. This is a very quiet area of Cayman. We did wish they had a gym or tennis court but sometimes vegging on the water is really what you need.

Beautiful, Comfortable vacation rental

The unit has one spacious large bedroom which overlooks the pool and has it's own bathroom with shower. The other bedroom faces the parking lot. There is a bathroom with shower and tub next to this bedroom. The beds are on the softer side. Shades darken the bedrooms sufficiently. There was shampoo. There are extra blankets and linens, if needed and beach towels. There were 2 hair dryers. There were 3 beach chairs and a Styrofoam cooler, several pairs of water shoes and flippers. The storage unit has a clear plastic kayak for 2, a single kayak and a paddle board. The pool and hot tub are clean and well maintained. Be prepared to be awaken by roosters at 5 am. (bring ear plugs) They are everywhere. Be aware of jellyfish near the beach. Local restaurants close by 9 or 10 pm. There is a coffee shop next door. Overall, we were very pleased with this unit and had a wonderful week.

Kokomo Kai

The condo is lovely and very well appointed. We appreciated the large walk in shower and the comfortable beds. We also enjoyed the property as a whole, and the pool is beautiful. Having stayed on Seven Mile Beach in the past, we found this part of the island to be much more quiet. There are very few amenities - restaurants, grocery stores, shopping areas. You definitely need a car. Although the listing indicated that the condo is not wheelchair accessible, it should be noted that it is a second floor unit with no elevator. The stairs were a little bit challenging for us, especially when carrying suitcases and groceries.
