Welcome to your Oceanside retreat, a stunning beachfront upper level duplex designed for unforgettable vacations. This 1,400 sq. ft. property features two spacious bedrooms, each with a king bed and a twin bed, comfortably accommodating up to six guests. The master bedroom, "Sea Star," offers a serene ocean view, while the second bedroom, "Sand Harbor," provides a cozy retreat. Both rooms are equipped with modern amenities, including air conditioning, heating, and a TV for your entertainment.

Please note that ~15 steps are required to enter this unit.

The open-concept living area is perfect for relaxation, with a fully equipped kitchen featuring a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, and a coffee maker. Whether you're preparing a gourmet meal or a quick snack, you'll find everything you need. The dining area seats six, making it ideal for family meals or entertaining guests.

Enjoy the convenience of wireless internet, a washer and dryer, and a private garage. Linens, beach towels, and bath towels are provided for your comfort. Step outside to the private beach, where you can soak up the sun or take a refreshing dip in the ocean. The shared patio with a fire pit and BBQ grill is perfect for evening gatherings.

BEACH ACCESS: The private stairs down to the beach is currently inaccessible. Alternative beach access is 150 feet north at Forester Street.

All homes in Oceanside, CA sit behind a rock barrier protecting the homes from storm surges. The amount of sand beyond the rock barrier varies quickly with storms and tides and may have more or less sand than what is shown in the photos.

For your convenience, we provide a starter kit of essential items to get your stay off to a comfortable start. This includes a small supply of dishwashing pods, laundry pods, paper towels, tissues and toilet paper. Please note that these items are provided as a courtesy and are not intended to last for the entire duration of your stay. Guests may wish to bring or purchase additional supplies as needed.

Great response to our requests/texts.Was disappointed in the internet service (which affected the TV/streaming services). We were told to re-set the router. It was constant and frustrating trying to watch holiday movies. Normally it wouldn't have been such an issue, but due to the rainy/stormy weather, we hoped to use the service more than normal.

Really amazing place

I really don’t have a complaint. I did 4* just to show they are a little rigid on the checkin time unless you pay more. 5-15 min early would be minor but helpful. Forget it though because if you can come here do it. Really nice place and once in a lifetime views. Waves singing you to sleep. Just do it.

Breathtaking Condo and Views

This place was the perfect beach getaway. The condo we stayed in was the top floor (out of 2 or 3 units) of the property and sits on the beach. The view was incredible especially during sunset. It’s close (maybe a mile) to all the Oceanside restaurants, shops and the pier but far enough away from the crowds. South (approximately 2 miles) of the property is the town of Carlsbad which also has a ton of restaurants and shops. Before check-in the staff was very communicative. Check-in was a breeze, got a whole garage to ourselves and during our stay there honestly were no issues or reasons to contact management. We had everything we needed for our two night stay. Note that the beach at the property is rocky with a little patch of sand which is very clear in the photos. Just a 10 minute walk north you’ll hit the beach strand path and wide open beaches. The condo was very clean. I brought a friend with me and we each took a bedroom. Each bedroom has two built-in day beds so can fit 4 people per bedroom. I rented this place in April and the weather was perfect. 70’s and sunny. Each morning we sat on our balcony and watched birds and dolphins with our morning coffee. I would definitely rent this condo again.

Nice location and view

We had a great time at this property as it's a perfect location in Oceanside. The view is exceptional as it feels like you're on a cruise in how you hover over the ocean. The kitchen is huge and well equipped, the living room spacious with huge flat screen TV, and bedrooms both beyond spacious. There's nice light emanating from the windows in the vaulted ceilings. If you open the glass doors to the large balcony, it becomes an open air space that makes it so relaxing. We were beyond pleased with the location as you can surf right out front if you want and it's not crowded. So we had a great stay. We will be back!

Falling apart

Not sure where to start, the kitchen cabinets falling apart, broken ice maker, broken microwave, broken down dishwasher, not enough cookware or dishes! It’s honestly falling apart! Does not look like the listing at all! Patio doors rusted and don’t close. Floors are squishy feels like you are going to fall thru! It’s not worth $20 a night! Beware!!!!

Good not great

The beach view was absolutely gorgeous. Pictures don’t even do it justice. Other than that, things were kind of just ok. The house is definitely rough around the edges. The sandy area is nice in that it is private, but the sand is full of junk and I didn’t want my dog cutting her foot on something. The worst part was that the house next door was clearly abandoned/dilapidated, and there was a homeless person squatting there. You could see in through the back doors/windows, and the house was totally empty except for a bare mattress on the ground, and garbage everywhere. The man was often outside in the neighboring house’s backyard area, which is directly facing the backyard area of this home. He was yelling and acting erratically, and long story short I didn’t even feel comfortable using the outdoor area. I was only able to use the upper balcony for outdoor time, which was a huge bummer. I know the owner of this house can’t control what goes on next door, and I do have compassion for the man’s situation, but it was a shame that it had to kind of ruin my (very expensive) vacation stay. Overall did not feel super safe so that is something I would keep in mind for future renters!

California get away

Things look different on the photos as the do in real life. The upkeep looked not as polished as the video tutorial. But, it was a very pleasant place and would stay here again. The beds were very comfortable. The shower was great. We had some issues with (on our end) using the TV. We called management and they can quickly and were very helpful and got us watching American Idol! There were a few other calls, such as batteries for remotes and management was very prompt in getting to us. It is very different being right on the ocean. I found it very hard to sit at the patio, enjoy the scenery, I couldn't see out past the glass... the salt water is a bit rough on the glass. It was a fun area to visit and the sunsets were amazing!

Beautiful Ocean View

It was nice to enjoy the ocean view and sound on the large and very nice balcony. The grill came in handy, but we wished the firepit would have been larger. Overall the property was very nice, although you could tell it has been around a little while. It could have used a little touchup with paint to the trim in some areas and I wish opening and closing the door to the balcony was a little easier. We had to just experiment to figure out how to open and close the glass door. The king beds were very comfortable. It was nice having the extra side beds in the bedrooms so everyone could have their own sleeping space and they were pretty comfortable as well. It was nice having a garage space to park in since the spaces in front of the garage were not very long and probably would not accommodate larger suv's. Overall this is a well appointed unit and we enjoyed our stay. This unit was in a good area to get to things, but yet in a quiet enough area to just stay in (because of Covid) and enjoy the property itself.

Amazing Stay!

The pictures do not do this rental justice! The ocean is expansive and meshes with the space. The check-in process was smooth and contactless. The rental itself was extremely clean and inviting. I recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway by the water!

Incredible View

This property had a fantastic view. Enjoyed watching the surfers and seals in the morning. The kitchen was very equipped with what you'd need to cook a meal. There were a few maintenance issues, but we reported them and am sure they will be fixed for the next guests. The house made for a nice getaway weekend.

A beautiful property, interrupted by construction.

Our vacation began amazing and this home is beautiful. The beachside lounge is perfect, as is the gorgeous upstairs outdoor patio. Truly great view on the beach. And we loved the high ceilings. Plus, with Pre-teen kids, the added side window beds were nice for sleeping/lounging and meant no need to share sleeping spaces. Although obviously no place is perfect (A door to the outside deck leaned precariously off its hinges, the ice machine didn’t work, and the cabinets had some issues). But those things aside the house is awesome. So ... that is our review of the place. It is wonderful IF there is no construction. However, given what happened next, we would encourage renters to ask if there is construction ongoing. We were told there wasn’t, but On our second full day there, we had Construction noise grinding tile From 745 am til 4 pm. Not random noises. Consistent high pitched tile cutting as a constant backdrop throughout the house even if you closed all the windows. The neighbors below said it drowned out the sound of the ocean. And we were on the ocean. We began calling 2 hours into the piercing noise. I went for walks. I left to find places to go despite planning for this being a shelter in place. Multiple calls and promises to find a resolution, we resigned ourselves to go home. We frantically searched the 3% of vacation rentals left and found nothing. It had taken us dozens of hours to find this place, how could we find something else in a mere few moments. Just to be clear ... they can’t control construction... but if they had warned us about it we wouldn’t have picked this place. Thankfully, we found another rental they owned, although a group/large event rental and not ideal. The company had no options for us to solve the problem until we let them know they had another place that could accommodate us. That bugged us that they left it to us to make us happy. They left it to us to tell them what we wanted and hours and hours of calls and delays, Promises of calls, no calls, waiting and waiting (12+ hours), and not how we want to waste our vacation days. They eventually made it work as the other option for us was to go home. So after 2 days lost listening to constant construction noise, we headed to the new rental place. It worked out, but less than ideal and we did like this place (And we liked it better than the second place) but on both sides it left us a bit frustrated with the situation.

Birthday Trip

We loved the location and amenities of the condo. Location gave us perfect access to towns up and down the coast. Our only complaint was that the ac runs on a timer. Even set on 4 hrs(the maximum time) the condo was very when we returned in the afternoon. Blinds cover the windows, but not the door which allows the bright afternoon sun to heat up the condo. Granted the weather was unusually warm the week we visited. All in all, we had a good time and would rent the condo again.
