The room was ok. The bathroom was very clean and bidet was great, however, the carpet would benefit with a deep clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful with great restaurant recommendations and directions!

It was very clean and was very comfortable. The location was not very close from the hotel or from Korakuen. It took me more than 15 minutes with heavy suitcase, but the hotel itself was very clean and comfortable, and it was very reasonable. Very nice hotel. I will use Smile Hotel again.

Staff was great. They helped me send my luggage back to Tokyo. Location great about 10 minutes walk to train station, close to lots of shops and castle. Lobby nice and clean but room cleanliness is lacking in the details. Bathroom fan had layers of dust. Pink bacteria stain behind faucet and side of shower. Showerhead had black mold in the centre. This would prevent me from staying again unfortunately.

Room was nice and clean. Amenities available from reception include tea, toothbrushes and razors. No coffee, though. Breakfast was good, but exactly the same options each day. There were some rolls and pats of butter but no knives to cut the rolls and apread the butter. Odd.

The first room I git had some type of flying bugs in the windows and curtains and a big stain in the carpet. I asked to change room and they gave me another one. The new one was better, but still a few minor things caught my attention. The hotel was well located and easy access to train station so I overlooked the minor flaws which can happen in hotels such as these.
