Large Home In Dundee For Families, Pets Welcome

This turn of the century craftsman-style home is perfect for weekend getaways and longer stays. Large rooms, new furnishings - especially the memory foam mattresses, premium appliances, wifi, 55" TV, and an ultra-convenient location makes this a relaxing place for your home away from home. The house is in Dundee, an historic midtown Omaha district boasting great restaurants, bars, and many unique businesses, and is next to UNMC hospital, parks, downtown Omaha, and Midtown Crossing. Enjoy!

Space
Every attention has been made to make your stay comfortable and safe. This home has three pretty bedrooms upstairs. The huge master bedroom has a king bed plus his and her closets. The south bedroom has a queen size bed, and the east room has a daybed with a trundle. Downstairs, the comfy couch opens to another queen size bed. All have new memory foam mattresses. For a little one, a new Pack-n-Play infant/toddler bed is provided. The dining room and kitchen are built and furnished for large or small gatherings of friends and family. New stainless steel appliances in the kitchen make food prep easy. A long, built-in oak window seat adds even more seating capacity in the dining room. Wired-in smoke and CO2 detectors, new plumbing and wiring, and accessible fire extinguishers ensure your safety.

Neighborhood overview
I have lived in the Dundee area for over 30 years. Dundee is unlike any other place in Omaha. The unique charm of this neighborhood enfolds you with its lovely churches and architecturally varied housing as soon as you enter it. I especially enjoy the close proximity to lovely parks, having a walkable neighborhood, lovely churches, beautiful homes and quick access to shopping fundamentals like grocery stores, malls, Target, and CVS. The restaurants are wonderful, offering a huge variety of foods and price points.

Getting around
This home has off street parking, and if more space is needed, street parking on S. 48th Street, one house away. Dundee is walkable, and great for biking.

Wonderful home, great owners.

We stayed 2 nights in this wonderful home and enjoyed our time there. The property is well furnished and has everything you need if you wanted to cook. We did not. The owners were quick to respond whenever I need to communicate with them. Highly recommend this home if you are in Omaha.

Perfect spot in Dundee

We loved staying at this property! Very comfortable with Craftsman charm, and the location can’t be beat. It was an easy drive to the Zoo, the Old Market and the Children’s Museum. The Dundee neighborhood is great, with parks and restaurants a very short drive or easy walk away. We would stay here again.

The property is nice. Somewhat noisy, located on a busy street. We enjoyed the porch. Kitchen is very nice and well equipped. Very disappointed in communication with the owner. Will not return.

One of our Favorite Places to Stay!

This is a wonderful property that fits our needs while we are visiting family in Omaha. The backyard is amazing for our pets The location is close to downtown and has a lovely neighborhood. We feel safe staying here and always appreciate the timely communication from the owner.

Incredible home, incredible location

We had the best time in this home. The location was perfect. We were only a few minutes from CWS Stadium, tons of great restaurants, convenient to stores, and also all ballparks we played in for Omaha Slumpbuster were 10-20 minutes away. The host is so kind and helpful. Can’t recommend this home enough if staying in the Omaha area.

The home is a beautiful historic home, in an excellent central location and Candace has made sure that just about anything you could need for a stay with family and friends is available to make the stay more comfortable. Cannot recommend enough!

Short rainy weekend stay

This is a cute older home that has everything you need to be comfy. We happened to pick a rainy weekend, but found the tv’s were easy to use and the internet was accessible for all of our devices. Then, we started and finished a puzzle. Way to go Candice! You really know what a family should have for entertainment.

Very comfortable

We (three adults) enjoyed our stay at this character-filled home in a convenient Omaha location. The house felt homey (with plants, flowers and cozy throws) and the kitchen was well-stocked. We cooked some meals and ate out some - there are a lot of options close by. The owner was very thoughtful - we had some tasty treats waiting for us when we arrived, and somebody shoveled the snow off the walkways & driveway & car the three times it snowed while we were there. There's numerous TV/streaming options. A very nice experience. We would rent it again.

Best experience ever

The house was decorated immaculately. Staying there for a Doctors visit during the holidays was not what I was looking to do, but when we walked up to the house and both the inside was decorated for christmas, it brought a smile to our faces. The house is extremely unique and has the charm of a bygone era. The owner/host was extremely friendly and helpful. I hope to be able to stay there on my future visits.
