Hotel is aggressively mediocre, but my room did look like there had been some recent attempts at a refresh. The bathroom was clean and though the waterproofing caulk was bulky and a little messy, it was clean and white. Bed was comfortable and sheets looked to be clean. The closet was old and creaky and difficult to open, the black out drapes are a million years old and there was visible & chunky debris in the vent of the cooling/heating unit. My deadbolt did not work so I checked out early.

Everything was great. But the person I was staying with got bitten. We think bed bugs. We let the receptionist know. She wanted to give us a discount but was unable to due to the fact I booked through hotels.com. It’s so unfortunate that my guest had to go through that.
