Charming Winter Park Fully Furnished & Pet Friendly Farmhouse Bungalow

Charming Farmhouse Themed cottage in beautiful Winter Park, FL. This home is centrally located near Rollins College (4 miles), UCF (6.5 miles), and Full Sail University (1.8 miles) as well as just a short drive away from Park Avenue in Winter Park (4.5 miles) and a hop, skip and a jump away from 417 which takes you to Downtown Orlando (11 miles) and Disney's theme parks (34 miles). This house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a large fenced in back yard. The kitchen is fully furnished with a stainless steel fridge, electric oven, dishwasher and microwave. You will have everything you need including pots, pans, utensils, dishware, coffee station, linens, towels, and complimentary shampoo and conditioner in bathrooms. Dogs are welcome with a $100 pet fee and will love the big fenced in back yard! there is no garage, however, there is plenty of space for 2-4 vehicles. All bedrooms have a queen bed. The house is beautifully furnished with farmhouse decor.

Overall the place was very convenient to all our activities for the week. When we first pulled in, it didn’t look like the picture, most of the plants died in the freeze so the dead plants looked bad. It’s an older bungalow but the inside was clean and comfortable. A few maintenance issues such as master sink very slow to drain, the microwave broke while we were using it, toaster didn’t want to pop up right, front door warped so need to pull to make sure lock engages, and dryer is old so it took twice as long to dry clothes. The host was pretty accessible through text on VRBO site. I did get a small refund for sink issue. They were willing to send cleaner to fix it but we were in and out most of the time. The front porch light stayed at about 10 watt. Not enough to light up the porch. The area was quiet.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. We picked this location because my niece lives in nearby Oviedo where we were gathering for a family holiday celebration. The house was clean and comfortable. My Mom brought her dog and the house was very dog friendly. It was also equipped with baby essentials which definitely came in handy as my grandson is 12 months old. Thank you we would stay here again in the future.

Disappointing property! The condition of the property is not as described or as it appears in the photos. The most alarming issue is the front door and deadbolt as it has apparently been broken into and repaired so poorly that I was afraid it might not stand up to regular use much less deter a burglar. We felt very unsafe. Then there is the obvious smell of mold/mildew upon each entry. The master bath sink does not drain and was very annoying!! There are numerous other appearance issues as well as no gazebo as promised in the description. Front porch is also filthy and ragged. The owner is pleasant and accommodating and the decor is cute on a bright note.

Completely blindsided!

The picture of the front is COMPLETELY not what you get! We passed by and I thought NO WAY is that the place! plants growing out of the gutters, dirt driveway, rotten ramp with a hole in it! I was so embarrassed with my family! I so wish I could post a picture, but doesn’t give me the option! Neighborhood is very sketchy and not a place you feel safe. Listed charming, you have got to be kidding me! So misleading, we were duped!

Hurricane wind damage on property, small trees growing out of gutters. Unusually low ceilings. Mildew smell. Didn’t feel that we could stay here safely ( health wise). Had booked it for 2 months. We were refunded without issue.

Charmingly comfortable!

We were in town for a wedding at Rollins College and the location could not have been better. We were minutes away from the college and close to a variety of shops and restaurants. While the house had the quaintness of a cottage, there was more than enough space to spread out. Cleanliness is a major concern and clean it was! The furnishings were comfortable and the neighborhood quiet. This cute cottage was perfect for us!
