Lovely, bright & airy cottage!

We had a great stay here with our 2 year old daughter! The cottage was clean, well-lighted and comfortable. We enjoyed lounging in the backyard and seeing bunnies pass through the grounds. (One note to management, the towel rack in the bathroom is loose and the bars fells down when we tried to use it.) Would definitely stay here again!

We have stayed here 3 Years in a row. Always coming in the fall to attend the oysterfest in wellfleet. We are very happy with the accommodations. Highly recommend it.

beautiful home great location

we have stayed at this house for several years and it is among our favorites on the cape. It is clean, bright, and has a great open layout. Beds are comfortable and kitchen well appointed. the location is the best, centrally located in Orleans, literally a minute from rail trail on bike, and with quick access to both ocean and bay side beaches. in short we love it.

Best Spot Ever

We fell in love with this place! The property is amazing. So gorgeous! The landscaping is perfection. The inside is adorable! We had the dreamiest week visiting all of the different beaches along the coast. The National Seashore was amazing to enjoy with kids. We will definitely be back!! Perfect Beach House for a Family!

This was our second year in a row returning to this wonderful property and community. Again the home was tidy, well-stocked for a great week, and comfortable for our family. Del Mar is an excellent host and responsive if you need to connect with them. Couldn't recommend enough staying at this beautiful home in Orleans!

Great quick getaway stay!

Our stay at this home was great. The property is exactly like it is pictured. The accommodations are simple, no frills (which is great for have two small children), but very clean. The master bed was also extremely comfortable. We only had two snafus while staying at this home (the air conditioning Nest system and the smart lock getting in), but management was quick to address and fix the Nest system. My reason for the 4 star for check in was that the smart lock was tricky to open, so every time we would try to get in the house it would take 4-5 times to open (which can be hard with young children). The location was also great - a quick drive to town and Skaket Beach. We would consider staying here again!

The Perfect Beach House!

Our stay here was everything we hoped it would be! The accommodations are exactly as pictured - clean, beautiful, comfortable, and well taken care of by the property owners. We enjoyed Skaket Beach and Nauset Beach, both within a short drive. The location is located very close to wonderful restaurants, shops, and grocery stores. We hope to be back for multiple summers!

Late September Stay

I spent the weekend here with my husband and 16 year old daughter. This spot was perfect for us. We were so pleased to find it utterly spotless and exactly as described. In addition, we loved the location - and biked into Orleans Center a couple of times. If our stay had been longer we would have been on our bikes heading in all sorts of directions: Rock Harbor & Skaket. We would happily return! Thanks!

Nice place!

Wonderful yard, super comfortable beds, and the beautiful Rock Harbor a short distance away. (Though the road was kinda busy and narrow for walking there; we drove or biked there.) The back patio was a great place to hang out and for playing with kids outdoors, but be aware there is traffic noise, as the location is not far from Rt. 6. We had our bikes, which allowed us to use the nearby CCRT to go to National Seashore, Orleans Center and Nickerson State Park. The interior was nicely laid out, extremely clean and furnished well. My only compliant in regards to cleanliness, which is minor, is that the outdoor grill was unusable because it had so much grease in it that when you turned it on it spouted flames a foot high which did not dissipate even after several minutes of trying to burn it off, dramatic plumes of smelly black smoke and all. The maintenance crew was responsive and very good about telling us about some minor work that had to be done at the house when we there. They even offered to buy us breakfast somewhere to avoid it, but we were a bit reticent about going out due to Covid. I definitely thought I got my money's worth and would stay there again.

A summer to remember!

My husband and I had the most amazing time while staying at this house in Cape Cod. We initially planned to stay for 4 weeks but ended up extending for 2 extra weeks as there was so much more we wanted to do and see in the surrounding area. The location of the house is incredible..it’s 10-15 min walk to a beautiful harbor where we watched the sunset almost every night. It’s also a 5 minute drive to great beaches and close to Orleans town. The house has everything you need, it’s super clean and cute. It has a great terrace with a grill and lots of outdoor space. DelMar property management was very responsive and helpful. The only thing I would change is the windows on top of the bed to limit the amount of light coming in early in the morning. Overall, we had an incredible time and can’t wait to come back next year!
