The door opens toward the shower and the bed, and I notice it every time I walk out after a shower. It would be pretty embarrassing if someone walked in at that moment. And the little landing area between the TV and the rest of the room feels like a bunker—sleepy, cramped, and not convenient at all.

Stayed 6 nights and never had a good night’s sleep! It was so noisy from street noise…almost as if the window was open. I’m not sure if being on the 5th floor was the reason but EVERY NIGHT, around 12a-2a, loud motorcycles would blast through on the nearby street. Other than that, the hotel was decent: from the buffet breakfast, the onsen, and the staff were all so nice.

Room was clean and the arrangement maximized the space. Staff were very kind and friendly. Amenities were amazing. The spa is the best we have ever experienced at a hotel. Traditional breakfast was some of the best food we ever had in Japan.
