Very Nice and comfortable

Pros: Location Staff Cleanliness
3 of us stayed at hotel on the weekend of Nov. 21-23 2014. Checking in was a breeze the staff were very friendly and professional. The lobby is warm and comfortable. The rooms are lovely and roomy. I slept on the pull out couch which believe it or not was quite comfortable. A quick walk to several nice restaurants and 2 well know coffee shops. Driving from here to anywhere was easy even with the one way streets. Parking is under the hotel and is a little cramped....but there are several floors of parking availability so it was not an issue. If you drive anything higher than a jeep though, you will not fit in. Also be aware that parking was 25.00 /day including taxes. All in all it was a very nice stay and will not hesitate to stay there again.

My favorite hotel in Ottawa

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
I travel often to Ottawa and have stayed in many hotels. This is my favorite one...You get great rooms for a great price...little apartments..great beds, newly renovated suites...and all rooms are suites. My favorite by far.

Decent Hotel

The suite we stayed in was nice, clean and updated. The building itself was converted into a hotel, so the suite was spacious. We had a pleasant experience overall.

Excellent ecperience

My husband and I have been visiting Ottawa the last three years every other month and we regret not finding this gem not too far from Carleton University where our daughter studies. This place is amazing in everyway.

Staying with an old friend

Pros: Nice staff and adjacent restaurant.
Location: For me there is a bus stop outside the main door, direct from the Airport route 97-OC-Transpo.
The Albert and Bay Suites Hotel is my hotel of preference in Ottawa. My room included the bedroom, fully equipped kitchen and living room, plus bath. All this for a room ate comparable to other chain hotels elsewhere in Ottawa.

Awesome for the price

We were in town with my son's team for the Capital Cup youth hockey tournament. The hotel had teams from the US, Finland and China staying in it, but you'd never know it by staying in the rooms. Hardly any noise from the halls or neighboring units. The staff were all super-friendly and handled it wonderfully. The housekeepers do a great job, too. The suites are very large, like apartments. We had two full baths in ours. The kitchen was well equipped and even had a dishwasher. Beds are very comfortable. The location is great. Would love to stay again.

A GREAT LOCATION WITH WONDERFUL FACILITIES

My wife who is in a wheelchair found the suite at Albert at Bay was extremely well equipped and accessible. The suite was beautifully decorated, clean and large enough for us to entertain guests. In particular the staff was very friendly as well as extremely helpful in directing us to eating facilities and places to visit. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Ottawa. The facilities were very low priced for a comfortable, clean suite will all of the amenities of home provided. These amenities enabled us to make the choice of eating in the suite or going out.
