Spacious Family Vacation Retreat!

Whether relaxing in the spa hot tub, barbequing on the back deck or roasting smores around the fire pit, this centrally located home has it all. Walkable to downtown Packwood shops, restaurants, bars and minutes from hiking trails, Mt. Rainier and White Pass, this spacious 4-bed, 2-bath home, features Wi-Fi, 2 Smart Tv's, a well-stocked kitchen and deluxe linens and amenities, as well as a garage/game room with laundry, EV Plug, Ping Pong, Arcade games and room to store your gear.

The home is located in the small town of Packwood, Washington. Its remote location and small-town charm have a relaxed vibe and is a great place to relax and recharge from your busy life. Packwood often has herds of elk roaming through town. (Please note that we don't recommend getting close or feeding the wildlife.)

Packwood has several restaurants, bars/breweries, shops and a grocery store.

Our home is close to Mt. Rainier National Park (12 miles), Gifford Pinchot National Forest (5 miles) and White Pass Ski Resort (20 miles) where you can enjoy many outdoor activities including, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and bird & wildlife watching.

There is a fire pit and wood burning fireplace, but you will need to provide your own wood. During the summer a burn ban may go into effect for all of Lewis County. During this time, the use of the fire pit and fireplace may be prohibited.

We do not allow smoking inside of the home or near the open windows.

We do have a Level 2 EV Port. Please bring your own charging cable to connect.

Great house, clean and well stocked with everything, including kitchen items. Comfortable beds, sparkling hot tub, pretty much every amenity you could want. The house is wonderful, in a great location, and has all the extras and special touches to make for a great stay. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful, everything went as smooth as can be. There was a lot to do in the house and you can literally walk 5 minutes to the heart of Packwood. We will definitely return!

Really great accommodations. Very classy. Clean, roomy, very comfortable. Backyard is wonderful, fire pit, grill, and jacuzzi. Game boards, puzzles and playing cards for the family. Two TVs. Comfy furniture. Most importantly we had an emergency (hit a pot hole coming back from hiking and bent a rim, blew a tire) hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We are very grateful.

Stayed for 2 nights 9/1-9/3, just 2 of us and it was better than advertised. Well equipped, well stocked, very comfortable beds. The owners have gone beyond in making it a wonderful rental. Could easily hold 6-8 people comfortably. Owners were fabulous with communication. A no stress rental!!

This Packwood house was a perfect place for a Mt Ranier hiking trip. We were well situated behind and near the restaurants in town and were less than a 20 minute drive to the Steven's Canyon entrance into the national park. The yard was full of fruit trees and bushes, which both we and the neighboring elk families enjoyed. The patio deck was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the perfect weather and nice scenery. The house was so comfortable- a real standout for a group or large family. Plenty of seating, a stocked kitchen, double washer /dryer with ping pong and pac-man in the garage, comfortable beds and bedding, good shower pressure, and other personal touches to make us feel welcome. There were even hiking books and maps to use. This was an exceptional property and we would visit again in a heartbeat!

Our experience was fantastic. The property was well maintained, with very clear instructions. The walk ability around Packwood was also a bonus. We enjoyed our time on Mt. Amazing place with great amenities. We were three families with kids and lots of games and activities to do. We had bought few games from home but realised the property had large collection of board games with table tennis and arcade as well. Our kids enjoyed a lot and we because of the hot tub. Overall I’ll definitely be booking this in future if I’m staying near Mt. Reiner. Personal recommendation, book for two nights. We only did one night and felt it was too short

Comfortable, spacious home

We loved our stay in Packwood. The house felt like a home and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the linens and towels were clean and nice. Some rentals feel like you are not supposed to cook there. This place has everything you need to make and serve a meal. We enjoyed the hot tub after skiing at White Pass. The location was nice, you can walk to the brewery, restaurant and grocery store. The ping pong table was fun and the area is beautiful. We would love to come again .
