We enjoyed our stay at this comfortable home, which had some great family-friendly features. The kitchen was very well-stocked, making it easy to prepare several meals and save on dining out—much appreciated! There were plenty of linens, board games/game room for endless family fun, and the host even offered free kayak use (though we didn’t take advantage due to chilly temps). The host was highly responsive to messages, replying within minutes and offering solutions like a quick cleaning service when we mentioned a few concerns.That said, a few things kept it from being perfect. Check-in was delayed because the door code didn’t work initially, taking about 20 minutes to resolve. We also had some minor issues with cleanliness, broken toilet paper holders in both bathrooms and noisy older appliances). The biggest disappointment was the hot tub—we booked largely for this amenity, but it was dirty upon our arrival. The host quickly sent a repair person (which was helpful), but it remained unclean the next day even after service. Overall, it was a solid stay with strong communication and thoughtful extras, but some cleanliness and maintenance details could use attention for a top-tier experience. We’d consider returning if those are addressed.
