View amazing but would not stay with Southern Vacation Rentals again
We go to different beaches 3 times a year. In fact we are going again next week. In saying that, we have stayed in many different condos and houses. I have never stayed with Southern Vacation Rentals and I never will again. The view was great from balcony and I loved that we were 3 stories up so we never took the elevator. Quick to get down and up as needed. But when we arrived we had 8 people staying here so we needed to use the pull out sofa bed as well as the other 3 beds. There was not enough bedding when we checked in so I called. They said someone would bring it up. By 8 pm no one had brought it up and we had traveled all day so it wouldn’t be long before we were going to bed so I called again. They said “ma’am if no one is there then no one can bring it to you I asked what they would do for our inconvenience because the tv in living room did not work either. I asked to speak with management and the lady said she was management. She laughed at me when I asked how they planned to make this right. Tv never got fixed. He came and said it’s broke. Period. No tv and never brought one while we were there. One lightbulb in master bath for 3 nights and bedding arrived next night after we had bought our own. The management was rudest person I spoke to the entire trip. The condo isn’t the problem. It is the management company and especially the manager I spoke to that is why I won’t use them again. Someone should listen to our convo if it was recorded.
