The house was great, the view was stunning! The porch with the hot tub looks out toward the coast, and you can sit watching the sunset from the hot tub with a cocktail in hand. Contact with Brian was good and he will take care of whatever you need. Be aware, the road into this property is a rough dirt road, but not any different than most of the roads in the area off the main highway. The house is secluded from the others nearby, so you have plenty of privacy. We would definitely stay here again if we visited the area.
Disappointed: power outage from 6:30pm to 1:30am, 45 min to Manuel Antonio, flat tire, no hot water.
We were very disappointed with CRT- Villa Vista Hermosa *WIFI*. We chose this property for the advertised "comforts of home" and amenities, despite the price being much higher than others in the area. This property and management did not live up to our expectations for the following reasons:
1. The power went out in the property from 6:30pm to 1:30am after moderate rain. Apparently power outages of extended duration are very common at this property, even during the dry season.
2. During the power outage neither property management or the owner reached out to us to explain the problem or the plan of action. No efforts were made to alleviate the hardship. (The owner later stated that the whole power grid was out, but houses immediately outside of CR Tropical Live the Dream neighborhood had power.)
3. The property is very remote. It is up a bumpy, steep, dirt road. It is a 45 minute drive to Manuel Antonio National Park and 30 minutes to Quepos. We got a flat tire on our first drive up to the property.
4. No hot water.
5. Electrical outlet in the bedroom did not work.
6. Owner was unwilling to provide any compensation stating that being without power all night is the "true Costa Rican experience" and that to provide compensation would "take away from our life story".
I do no recommend this property.
We loved everything everything this place had to offer. Our only complaints were there was no TV in the bedroom and no blender. The missing TV was a big incovience. It gets dark at 5:30 every night and they tell you not to walk Round at dark because of the poisonous snakes out. The blender would have been nice to use with hot tub. If these 2 things are available In the unit. Next time we visit Costa Rica we would stay there again. If not available we will look around for another house. The staff was wonderful.

Absolutely perfect
Our stay here was wonderful. I highly reccomend staying at a jungle rental over a beach rental or even a rental with a panoramic view. This Casa has jungle all around. It is a mile (down a crazy bumpy road so get an appropriate car) into the jungle. Every morning a enjoy my coffee on the deck and watch Tucans, squirrel monkeys and even was graced with spider monkeys. It's perfectly private quiet and serene. The casa itself is simply and beautifully decorated with everything you need to cook meals and relax. Wifi is strong and the bed is very comfortable. The manager Anne is very kind and helpful (she rescued my niece and her two year old when their van became stuck on her way to see me. Her husband pulled them out of a ditch). Brian the consierege came by every few days to check that everything was working and in order. He also set up a snorkeling adventure for us at a discount. In general I prefer to try different places on my travels but I will definitely be back with my husband as this place is very romantic. This time I was traveling with my nine and eleven year old children. If you have a toddler the deck is a bit dangerous due to the nature of the deck. The only very small downside is the water pressure and water temperature regulator that some people might have an issue with but should not detract from the overall wonderfulness of this retreat.
