Drop Anchor A Dog-Friendly Home with Beach Access

This lovely 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom creekfront home is the perfect setting for a relaxing week away. Enjoy peaceful evenings and gorgeous views from the spacious wrap around screened porch. With its cozy wood interior and homey feel, you'll be happy to "DropAnchor" here!

Features include 2 flat screen televisions, central H/VAC, washer/dryer, cable TV, DVD player, and wireless internet.

This home is dog-friendly (non-refundable pet fee applies) and offers easy beach access for the sunrise with you and your four-legged friends. Max Occupancy: 6,

Pet Friendly:
Dogs (no cats) are allowed. Pets are limited to domestic, housebroken dogs unless otherwise advertised. There is a non-refundable $400.00 (plus tax) pet cleaning and spray fee that will be charged to each guest bringing a dog. No smoking


Please note: (3) night minimums December - March & (7) night minimums April- November (Saturday check in during Peak Season)

TV’s in all bedrooms didn’t work or was too hard to figure out. We had no pets and someone obviously had pets there. But it was nice. Didn’t go there to watch TV anyway.

Wonderful Retreat

Wonderful, 1950's style Pawleys beach house. We loved the large wraparound screened in porch and so did our pooch. The interior was clean and comfortable with everything we needed for a week away from HurricaneHelene cleanup back at home.

Great (near to the beach) cottage

A charming older family cottage on a large lot in the heart of Pawleys Island. It had everything we needed and was very comfortably furnished. We loved the huge screened in porch. While not right on the ocean it was only a 3 minute walk away and a grocery store, drug store and bait shop were only a 4 minute drive away. There were also a number of good restaurants nearby We are definitely going back..

Perfect family friendly getaway

We had a wonderful time at Drop Anchor and really enjoyed the rustic beach charm the house gives that makes Pawleys Island such a unique place to go. The big porch was the most enjoyed place in the house. We spent hours rocking in the chairs and taking in the view while the children played in the open area the porch provided. The quick walk to the beach made it easy for having children 5 and under. We can’t wait to return!

Great Winter Rental

Enjoyed a stay over Christmas with family. Perfect location on Pawleys, great for a small family and hosting friends on the large porch. Huge backyard that leads right to the beach across the street. Super easy check in and out with Lachicotte.

Drop Anchor Thanksgiving 2022

Great charm--very old --no renovations or newer furniture. Pretty dirty in places. Example: ledges of baseboards and under beds have layers of dust. Listing says it has a fireplace; it does not. That's still in listing, though I mentioned it several months back. Plenty of room. Bathrooms old but pretty clean. Same for kitchen. Everything worked fine except dishwasher, which does not get dishes clean. Many dishes in cabinets had to be hand washed before use. Beautiful porch, but weather kept us from sitting out there much.
