The Hideaway at Pawleys

This first-floor condo features a spacious living room, a cozy bedroom, and a fully equipped kitchen. If you prefer to dine out, there are many excellent restaurants nearby. Fresh linens upon your arrival and plenty of storage for longer stays.

As a guest at the Litchfield by the Sea resort, you will have access to four miles of sandy beaches and an extensive pool complex, including a kids' pool, lazy river, and mini playground for young kids. Other amenities include private beach parking with rinse-off showers, tennis and pickleball courts, and fishing piers. The beach is less than a half-mile walk along paved sidewalks, and a beach parking pass is included if you prefer to drive.

Beyond the resort, you can explore everything Pawleys Island has to offer, including local shops, favorite restaurants and the following top attractions:
- Brookgreen Gardens
- Huntington Beach State Park, including Atalaya Castle and large playground area
- Downtown Georgetown
- Pawleys Island shopping

We strive to have each property working in perfect order, however, we can not guarantee that each appliance, a/c, wifi and/or cable will continue to work properly. Once reported, we will make every reasonable effort to assist with repairs in a timely manner. We can not assist with all non-emergencies after business hours, but will promptly respond the next day.
*We strongly encourage travel insurance for rentals during the Hurricane season time frame- June 1st- November 30th. During this timeframe we ONLY refund cancellations if there is a state of emergency ordinance for our area or a mandatory evacuation. For cancellations due to weather conditions, we strive to work with you to reschedule your stay.
*Pools are managed by the HOA. HOA determines the pool hours of operation. We are not responsible for the temporary closure of the pools due to repairs.

This condo was very nicely designed and exceptionally clean. The balcony was very spacious and had a nice view of the pool. We enjoyed the very quick access to Huntington Beach State Park, less than five minutes by car, and the covered area for our suv and bicycles. The Waccamaw bike trail is accessible from the parking lot, which is also a big plus for bikers. Plenty of towels and linens and well stocked; very comfortable. My only suggestion would be to add a few pieces of cookware as there were not any pots or pans for food preparation, otherwise, very pleased with all aspects of our stay and would definitely return.

Perfect for small family with or without pets!

My family did a partial week in the condo and it was perfect for us! We had fun and rested well here. My girls LOVED the lazy river and pool that was just beyond the balcony. Condo was in a great location to take pets out for a walk. Property manager was very easy to communicate with and responded promptly. We would definitely rent again!

The Perfect Hideaway

The Hideaway was nicely furnished, clean and comfortable, with everything to make our days there nearly perfect. There was good communication with the host making check in and out easy and hassle free, and we could not have been happier with our stay- a great place and we will return!

A great get-a-way at the Litchfield Beach & Golf Resort

The photos of the property reflect exactly the features it has. It was very comfortable, with a well-stocked kitchen and a large bathroom/shower. The bed was comfortable and the storage was more than adequate. We were able to host two friends who live at Pawley's Island for dinner with no difficulty. It was a great stay!

Awesome trip

It rained all weekend which wasn’t ideal but the location of this rental was great. You are literally 2-10 minutes away from everything you could need and also have access to the resort! 10 out of 10 definitely will be booking again!

Exceptional condo stay!

Such an excellent weekend stay at litchfield by the sea. Everything was so easy - check-in, keyless entry, access to beach, and check-out. Little condo had everything we needed for 3 people. Great proximity to grocery store, Starbucks and Murrell’s Inlet for fabulous food and entertainment. We also love Massey’s pizza and Eggs Up Grill across the street. Enjoyed the pool as much as the beach this time - not too crowded and love the adult beverages! Thanks for a great stay!

Short Getaway

Booked here to have a short Getaway over the weekend after getting married in Charleston. Just what we needed. Very close to the beach, about a 10-15 minute walk. They also provide gate passes to access some of the gated areas of the facilities. Clear instructions for check in and check out and good communication through out. Will definitely recommend to family and friends for a nice and quiet beach experience. Extremely close to all the restaurants and shopping in town. Magnolia and Litchfield beach are both beautiful and not too crowded. We will be looking to book here again in the future.

Great little condo

Very nice little condo with lots of amenities—everything you could need for a vacation. Kitchen supplies, linens (towels and bedding), Roku tv with ability to log in to your own apps and will auto delete your info on check out. Short walk to the beach and a short drive to the hammock shops, brookgreen gardens, and Huntington Beach. Pool and lazy river are clean and well maintained and right beside the condo. Check in very easy and only a couple of quick tasks on check out. Overall a great stay. Super responsive property manager and very easy to work with. Will be back for sure!

Beach Weekend

We stayed for a couple nights, wish we could have stayed longer! This unit is right next to the pool and lazy river, cute and clean with a balcony that over looks the pool area. The unit had everything we needed and was comfortable for our group of 5. It was easy to hop in the car for the short drive the the beach club parking area, where we were able to enjoy the resort’s beautiful beaches. You could also walk along the trail to get to the beach. Close to grocery store and restaurants, so it was easy to grab supplies or go out for a meal. Don’t miss the chance to grab some Parlor donuts! Great communication from Brandon before and during our stay. Loved out stay here!

Very clean

The condo was very clean and tidy. The walls were sufficiently thick so we couldn’t hear people above or beside us. Had all the necessities in the kitchen. It was a little tight for our family of 3 but only because we travel w a lot of things so next time we might need a bigger place. The location couldn’t be beat as it was next to the pool. Parking was great. We had an issue with the AC but the management company was very responsive and quickly took care of it. A great time was had on the lazy river by all.

Spring Break Getaway

We rented this condo for a mom & daughter Spring Break trip and it was perfect. The condo is a little ways away from the beach (15 min walk) but given it was early April, it was a perfect location. Even when it was cool down at the beach, the pool area by the condo was warmer. The pool was chilly but the girls didn't seem to mind. We overlooked the pool area so we could keep an eye on our tweens while they swam if we didn't want to go sit poolside. The area felt very safe and we enjoyed walking to stores & in the condo association. We did drive into Myrtle Beach a couple of times and its just close enough for that but far enough away to avoid the crazy SB traffic. The condo itself was clean, comfortable & had everything we needed. We would stay here again if we were in the area.

Not the same

The Pros; walked to the beach everyday. Easy to find location of room for my teen. Felt safe. First floor convenience to walk the dog. Decorated nicely. Keurig Coffee maker with coffee. Great amount of storage overall. Starbucks always open if needed. Turtles in pond were cute to see when walking around resort. The cons; It’s listed as 2 queens beds, however the beds are smaller than queens. So much sand & on the floor & bedding upon arrival. I used wipes on floor after sweeping, had spill marks on the tile from previous vacationers. SPIDERWEBS in the corners of the stairwell was scary.. and big. I was afraid to go out after dark and not know what was lurking in the corners. Also, as I was walking my dog in the desired dog area, cleaning crew drops bags of garbage down 2/3 floors to aim for dumpster near stairs. The bags get caught up in the surrounding trees & make a loud noise & even more so when the bag lands into dumpster. That was enough to give my dog the shakes & be scared & hide the entire trip. I still have lingering issues with her from that trip. Restaurant on location was closed almost entire time. Used to not be like this there. I noticed a lot has changed since I was there last. Upkeep isn’t the same at the entire resort. Some things have been let go but that has nothing to do with the private room we stayed in but overall I wanted to see what I remembered about it his place & it wasn’t like that.
