You will love listening to the sound of Birch Creek in the backyard or sitting by the warm fire in the Great Room. There is hiking, skiing, biking, and fishing nearby with a quick walk to Belleayre Beach. Only 2 hrs. 15 mins. from NYC, it's the perfect place to escape and relax with family and friends.

We had a fantastic stay. The owner, Jenny, was very responsive and provided excellent restaurant recommendations nearby. The home was spacious, spotless, and pet-friendly, which was a huge plus for our family. Its location — only 3 minutes from Belleayre Mountain — made getting to the slopes quick and easy and was perfect for relaxing after full days of skiing and snowboarding. Highly recommend this property.

Host was helpful and very quick to respond to questions. Check in/out information was provided in a timely manner and very easy to access property. House is comfortable and dog friendly. Fireplace was great! Parking more than sufficient for the 3 cars we had. Belleayre is really close. Great stay!

Great vacation home for family and friends

Fantastic home: clean, comfortable with a very friendly host. We stayed with our friends (2 families with kids) and enjoyed every minute of our stay. We skied every day (the house is 5 min away from the ski center) and went fishing to the lake which is walking distance. Perfect getaway and thank you Jennifer for being a great host.

Perfect Girls Weekend Getaway

Birch Creek Mountain house is such an amazing place to stay. We had 6 ladies for a much needed girls weekend. Jennifer was very responsive and helpful. We were all so comfortable as the house was clean, had plenty of space, Comfortable beds and sitting areas. We made a fire the first night inside and the second night outside by the creek. We played Amy Winehouse and Blondi on the cute little Victrola. We had our morning coffee outside on the back deck. Would say the only drawback was the road noise on rt 28. Luckily it’s not as busy as some downstate streets and will definitely not deter us from booking again. The house is also in a perfect location close to a lot of things to do. Thanks Jennifer for sharing your home.

Beauty and comfort

This property was absolutely beautiful tucked off the highway. A gorgeous sanctuary with a lovely gurgling creek behind the house. Clean, quiet and so comfortable. Everything was perfect. The only nitpicking I have is that it is hard to spot coming down the highway, and you have to slow down about .1 miles before to see it. There are two large boulders on either side of the driveway. Once you see them then you've arrived. I would suggest making the numbers a bit more visible. Other than that, sheer perfection! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This was our second stay at this very comfortable and spacious home. Love the fireplace and living room area where friends and family can hang out and relax. House is updated and has a great porch in rear where you can enjoy nature and listen to the water flowing against the rocks in the creek. Minutes from mountain. We will be back next year!

Taking in the Catskills

House was just as described. Very open and spacious- house was very close to a high speed road as others noted but the backyard was very spacious, inviting and safe. The creek is quite wide and provided lots of fun for our group. The fire pit was great as well. The kitchen even had a blender! Communication with the owner was easy and she was so friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Amazing weekend

My family had a great relaxing weekend on this property. The house was very spacious and clean. The house had a large deck and a huge backyard. We enjoyed listening to the sound of the rushing water from the creek just steps away. Our hosts Jennifer and Michael were great and very helpful. We can not wait to come back!

Amazing property

This house was so amazing! The house was spacious and clean and the bedrooms were big and comfortable. Plenty of room for kids to play and adults to hang out. The backyard is also an incredible private space with a fire pit and water access. The property owner was very nice and accommodating. We had such a perfect vacation at this house, we will definitely be staying again.
