Located at Palm Island Resort on Florida’s Southwest Gulf Coast. No bridges or causeways to the island exist, which ensures a relaxed, tropical vacation setting.
The island resort encompasses a two-mile portion of private, pristine beaches on the northern end of Palm Island.
Guests travel to the island via car ferry and park their car in our island parking area. Transportation is provided by our bell staff and golf carts are also available for rent for registered guests.
Enjoy access to one of the 5 heated pools, plus hot tub and gas BBQ grills.
Tennis courts available for play and always complimentary.
Our recreation center, Coconuts, offers a variety of rentals to include golf carts, bicycles, kayaks and beach umbrellas.
A full service concierge can also arrange for everything from massages to fishing charters. Join a complimentary water aerobics class, nature walk or yoga on the beach when scheduled. Everything worked out well, including the rooms, the restaurant, and the get together in the Club House on our last night. The only thing that could be improved is the service to and from the dock area for boaters. it would be nice to have a bellman on hand as the boats docked, to help tie them up and to handle the luggage trip to the check in area.A fabulous beach with an amazing number of shark's teeth to find in the sand. Maybe the best in Florida?

The villa itself is beautiful, welcoming, updated, and well maintained. We very comfortably stayed as a family of four in the unit. The beach was easily accessible and it was helpful that the path was clearly marked. We appreciated that the resort has a very family friendly atmosphere. There are things to do on the island aside from the beach including a playground, a pool, a gift shop, an ice cream bar, and a restaurant with a kid friendly menu. The entire staff, from guest services to the ferry deck hands, were polite, friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We would definitely recommend Palm Island Resort to anyone looking for a private, quiet, and relaxing vacation stay!

Not repaired during our stay. Mismached glasses and flatware. Not enough glasses, required to wash each time. 3 bowls for 4 guests! Original reservation was for direct gulf front..resort changed reservation to pool view. Master bedroom king bed was so delapidated foam pieces had been placed in the lower areas to make the surface level. Certainly not what was expected for over 400.00 per night!

My beach villa wasn't ready at check-in, and although I did arrive early and it was known I had been waiting. They did substitute another beach villa at the North end of the resort. It seemed as though it was the budget area with 30 kids running amuck and the (parents)were less than courteous. I think they stayed in the room above us. 2 Grills were inside the pool area with several people constantly waiting in line for use. Sun-up to midnight was total chaos all weekend. We love the beach and typically the atmosphere, but hated where they put us. Oh and it was a "superior" upgrade. Worst part is we had another 1st time couple with us. They were not impressed. Not sure I like where our favorite hideaway is headed.

The staff is friendly, accommodating, and go out of their way to see that you enjoy your stay. Some remodeling going on but that is expected from time to time.
