Overall a good stay

We thought this hotel will provide safe box and fridge, as per description on Expedia. However we arrived at the hotel after 10 hours delay due to flight cancellation, we were told that the safe was not working and reception offered to assist us by keeping our stuffs in the reception safe as needed. Fine with us, as long as we have somewhere to keep our valuables. Lo and behold, We got to our room and found that there was no fridge! Staying in a tropical climate without a fridge was not very convenient! Anyhow, there was something about this hotel that totally made up to our inconvenience. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. Our room was cleaned daily. The beds were comfortable. The property was well decorate and cared for. Nice and quiet. Great location. Close to all amenities we needed - the bank, laundry service, 5th Ave, Wal-Mart, Mega Mall, and plenty of restaurants. After these whining, I will still go back to this hotel when I go to PDC. I will make sure I get the fried next time.

Hotel is nice and in a good location, but avoid balcony rooms facing 10th Avenue since the hotel bar is open 24 hours and loud music plays throughout the night on weekends.

Great location. Quiet and clean. Attentive staff. Comfortable beds. TV reception poor but I didn't go to watch TV However, the hot water was 'almost warm'. Luckily the weather was great. I'd stay there again.

DO NOT GO HERE!

Worst hotel ever. If you enjoy cold showers then it may be tolerable. There is no hot water. The staff is unpleasant. They allowed a person to park behind my car, and didn't get their keys. We were stuck in the parking lot for hours. Waste of time and vacation. On top of that, the room is right next to the busy street, so you'll hear honking and loud noises outside your window all night long. Pay a little more and go some place else.

Great facilities and location for a great price !

Very pleased with service and overall feeling/appearance/presentation of hotel. Nice architecture - actually has a Hacienda feel to it. Sadly we could only stay one night.

2 block from the beach

Great location one block from 5th avenue 2 block from the beach. Walking distance from ADO( bus station). The only reason I gave a 4 for condition is : the handle from the shower was broken.great and friendly staff

Great location, everything is walking distance!

Staff eager to please! Room cool and large patio overlooking side street perfect for people watching. Had a little language barrier, but once they got it, it was taken care of! The pool was quiet and relaxing. Always clean. Beach is a quick walk, bar on beach had good live music. Shopping is a block away and with plenty of great shops -- Tequilla warehouse and Tequilla Bar must go to! Wear comfy shoes. Everything is negotiable.

Very conveniently located

The hotel was nice enough, It was a little crowded, so parking was not always available on premises. They ran out of clean towels one day, so we had to use pool towels, which speaks well for the staff, who used their imagination to solve the problem.

I was there for six nights, the service is good nice employees, I booked a hotel with an elevator for my knee problems and I was at the third floor, after a storm the elevator was broken for three days. Also I had an issue with the hot water until they told me the secret ....to be able to get a little warm water, I had to open the sink faucet and the shower at the same time , so if you like hot water ..... Not the place. But the hotel was small and clean one block from the 5th Ave and three blocks from the ocean....the service in the front desk is great they help me always when I call. The mattresses are hard like I read in other reviews but comfortable . Also they offer me the rooms with the street view ans told me will be more noise at night or the rooms with a poll view more quiet and peaceful. I will go back there anyway is central and a nice little place

Loved the hotel but there were some problems.

The water was barely luke warm which made for 2 days of miserable shower experiences. After the staff showing us a couple of times to run the sink and the shower at the same time to try to get it warmer, we finally changed rooms and were able to get a warm enough shower the rest of the stay. Comically, the first decent shower I had the power went out in that part of the city and the water stopped running during my shower. I would NOT pay for the breakfast that goes with the room, there are only 2 options on the menu for that price. The staff were all nice but not always the best at solving problems. They seem to hire cute boys which was a perk for my teenage girl ;-)
