Lake Naomi is a members only lake so we wanted to provide other swimmable beaches in the area. Below is the beach or state park and the approximate distance from the house.
Gouldsboro Lake:
Distance â about 20 minutes away from the house
Area - 250
Gouldsboro lake is famous for ice fishing, boating, and swimming. Besides multiple activities, one can enjoy luxurious electrically powered and non-electrical boating. Gouldsboro lake comes under Goldsboro state park. It is spread across Wayne and Monroe county.
Bradyâs Lake:
Distance â 15 minutes
Area- 223 acres
Bradyâs is another man-made lake that was initially designed to harvest ice; however, later, it was modernized, and more activities were included.The lake provides fishing and boating like any other lake of Poconos.
Tobyhanna State Park:
Distance â 15 minutes
Like many of the state parks in the Poconos, Tobyhanna State Park is open from late May through early September and offers swimming, picnic areas, camping and wildlife viewing. The beach area has restrooms and changing rooms, but expect to pay a nominal fee if you want to shower on site.
Hickory Run State Park :
Distance â 30 minutes
This is a great beach for swimming and also has a sand beach.
Promised Land State Park:
Distance â 35 minutes
Two sand beaches are open daily from Memorial Day to mid-September, 8:00 A.M. to sunset.
