The idea for The ReelTime Lodge originated from a need to find quality lodging for customers traveling from out of town associated with our fishing charter business. The response from our fishing groups has been overwhelmingly positive. They appreciate the clean modern amenities and large comfortable sleeping quarters that sleep up to 6 guests separately. ReelTime is just minutes away from local fishing charters and ferries to the Lake Erie Islands. We’re also only a few blocks from the downtown area restaurants and bars. Whether you’re a family looking to vacation on the Lake Erie Shores, a group of friends getting together for a few days of fishing or a romantic couple looking for a getaway, we would like to have the opportunity to accommodate you.

Almost located on a busy road and road noise was very prevalent during the daytime. Evening hours the noise significantly. This is a story and a half home and there is no bath or shower facilities on the second floor. The home has a long single lane driveway that you can park a boat on but getting in and out on the busy road during the daytime was difficult. The owners were very nice and were willing and able to answer all of our questions. His home is very clean and has been recently remodeled.

Week of fishing

Property well maintained and very clean! Plenty of space for all our things. We had 6 guys and all our gear. Room in driveway for 2 19’ boats and full size trucks. Only drawback is on somewhat busy road and traffic makes backing in a challenge at times. Owners respond quickly to calls. All in all we had a great week staying in the Reeltime Lodge.

Port Clinton vacation house

Exceptionally clean, excellent vacation rental for families or fishing groups visiting the Port Clinton area. Short drive to several boat launches, restaurants and gas stations, ample parking.

Great place to stay when visiting PC!

We had four adult couples stay after the Burning Snowman Festival in PC. Worked out great and everybody felt accommodated. The only thing I would mention is ice does gather by the back steps where you come in and out of the home from so be careful during winter months!

Fishing weekend

Property seemed to be newly renovated and was clean and comfortable. Did not use the kitchen but it seemed to have at least all the basics. A minor flaw was no soap or shampoo in the showers. Overall, a very nice stay.

This quick stay for a post wedding sleep was perfect. The wedding party was able to get ready pre and relax then sleep post. The 4 bedrooms and two full baths worked out great. Accommodations were all new/fresh. Very clean. Would recommend

The home was very clean and the host was easy to get in touch with. The only recommendation I have for the property is to consider locks for the bathroom doors.

Location was great! Space was great! Could have been nice if the air was already turned down some instead of being set at 77 on a hot summer day. Definitely could use some blinds for privacy and sunlight in the bedrooms.

Convenient location The owner of the house is also the owner of Eyehookers charters so we caught limits of fish everyday and enjoyed the lake
