The location was really great! We didn't want to be in downtown, but wanted to be close. It's Portland you won't lack for coffee shops nearby, we even walked to get dinner and drinks one evening. I also need to mention the beds and pillows, as they were excellent!Some things you may need to be aware of:If you're really tall (6'5" or more) this might be a challenge as it's a basement apartment. There is no oven, prepare accordingly.You don't have thermostat control, though I was always comfortable. I'd stay here again if given the opportunity to return!

Great stay! Close to so many things including shopping and restaurants. Shared driveway which was so amazing for parking as street parking can be limited in the Portland area. Very clean and well stocked with anything you might need. Bedding was extremely comfortable and really enjoyed the projector at night for movie watching. Highly recommend!

Property was listed as “entire house” when in fact it was a downstairs living unit from the main house of the owner. Not a huge deal, but one of the draws for us was the front porch and being able to sit out on it and enjoy the mornings and evenings. Parking was tight at times. There was no thermostat in our section so we were subject to the owner’s preference of temperature. Has a small fridge but the owner did make us aware of that prior to our stay. Overall nice property in a great neighborhood super walkable to coffee shops and other great stores. Just be aware that it is a shared property.

Met the needs - only issue was the the listing said it sleeps 5 (we were only 2) but when I asked to add our daughter in for 1 night (total 3 guests for only 1 night of the 4 nights we purchased) we were charged an extra 84. Guessing that was a VRBO charge. We were moving and leaving our first daughter across the country for grad school and she just wanted to spend 1 night with us before we left her. I think the extra charge was un-necessary (for 1 night). There also was a strong odor upon entry but we just purchased wax melts to cover it over. Besides that the basement unit was clean and communication was incredible.

Tucked away in a great neighborhood

Aaron made check-in so simple. His cozy apartment has a fully equipped kitchen but the neighborhood is so fun we never cooked. Just made a quick morning coffee with the supplies provided (appreciated). Aaron was so responsive before and during our stay. Highly recommend this roomy, clean, and cozy place.

All About Location

This basement apartment is just a couple blocks off Division and close to everything. We could leave our car in the parking space and in about a 20 minute walk or less be anywhere we wanted in the neighborhood including up to Hawthorne.

Great Portland Stay!

This was a great spot during our trip. It's in a beautiful neighborhood within walking distance of so many fun bars and restaurants. We drove quite a bit as well and it was nice to have a parking spot. Would recommend for anyone looking to explore the East side of Portland!

Lovely 2BR Unit in lush, walkable PDX!

We stayed at this garden-level 2BR in Portland for a few days and found it to be a great fit for two travelers. The unit was clean, with a good shower, comfortable beds, and large clean towels. The knockout was the location—very walkable, with plenty of bars, restaurants, and shops nearby. I also appreciated having a spot to park our car. We visited in May, and the bountiful blooming roses in the area were stunning, making for a great daily walk. Aaron was a phenomenal and friendly host, easy to communicate with and very helpful.Overall, this was a solid place to stay and a good value. We would book again!
