Convenient Location
The location of the property was very convenient to everything....grocery store, bakery, restaurants, walking trails etc. Also it was very easy for getting to major routes & a quick drive into downtown Portland.
The parking situation is a bit inconvenient since they say you're only allowed 2 cars in the driveway. There's clearly parking for at least 6 cars & there was no one else using the driveway. And there's no overnight parking allowed on the street, which we weren't aware of until we researched it.
The house was very clean but does show some signs of wear & tear. The furniture was clean & nice & the beds were very comfortable. Nice linens & pillows & plenty of extra blankets, pillows & towels.
Since the house can sleep 12 people, we felt the kitchen could've been a little more well-stocked. There was a shortage of utensils & kitchen supplies....only 3 wine glasses, no serving utensils, chipped plates, & cookie sheets in definite need of replacement.
Just a suggestion, but.....It would be nice to have some house notes/rules on location, which we've found in most VRBOs in the past. It's always helpful to know what to do with trash, recycle, used sheets & towels, etc. I did find some of that information in the VRBO app but not everyone is tech savvy so notes would be helpful.
But overall, we enjoyed the size & comfort of the house. And the location was ideal for everything we planned to do in the area.
