This is a beautifully styled home in a quiet, relaxing location. We chose it because of its 5 double rooms and the ability to comfortably house 10 adults for the weekend with enough bathrooms and plenty of space. Unfortunately, it did not meet the expectations of the luxury that the styling, size, location and price appear to communicate. When we arrived the fridges and dishwasher in the pool house weren't working. We were lucky enough that Jamie came out to rectify this on a Friday evening, however, the message I left with him about the lack of glassware never resulted in any action, yet I did receive another 'trouble shooting' email about the electricity issue, despite it being rectified. Almost everything we removed from the cupboard had to be cleaned before use and there were not enough wine and champagne glasses for 10 adults. The copious water glasses, but random mismatched wine glasses give off a family beach house vibe which might be acceptable if the rooms could be configured into twin beds to bring the kids, but that's not what this property is proposing. If a property advertises that it sleeps 10 adults, I don't think it's too much to expect that there would be 10 of each type of champagne and wine glass.... and where the property is marketed as a luxury location the glassware should be consistent. That together with the lack of attention to the garden, really undermined the luxury of the experience that this house advertises and I wouldn't book it again.

Feel the serenity

We had a reunion of 5 girlfriends from University. Byron Brae was the perfect venue. It is hard finding a place that accommodates 5 adults without someone sleeping in a bunk or sharing a bed! Byron Brae was the perfect find - 5 double/queen beds, 3 bathrooms and a gorgeous living area. The pool and cabana house were an added bonus. We will be back

Birthday Perfection

Stayed here with a group of friends for my 50th
 Just perfect to enjoy some chilled time together. The views are gorgeous and you feel like your the only house for miles even though it’s a cul-de-sac Note for future guests
 Arrange for some firewood before you get there. There is a great fire pit and indoor fire but only a starter kit supplied. If you prearranged delivery it would be clever and save time and money.

Breath taking views, relaxing atmosphere, spacious home.

We all were blown away by the views. So relaxing. The pool house was amazing. All home was a good size that 7 of us weren't getting in the way of each other. Enjoyed our Byron Brae experience. Unfortunately, your cleaners let you down. From the mouldy bread boards to the dust on the bedside lamps and headboards. Dust balls could be seen under the couch when entering the the front door and grease on the range hood. Mouldy grout in the unsuite. My partner vacuumed before our guest arrived but had to clean the vacuum and filters to make it work properly. Skirting board were Dusty. Chipped mugs and glassware should be remove and a knife missing its point. The main bathroom sink is cracked. An attention to detail is lacking I'm sorry to say.

Hinterland heaven

Great house for a weeks getaway with friends. Superb outlook over beautiful rural valley-good for the soul. Perfect aspect caught warm sunshine all day!
