Welcome to our charming, renovated weaver's cottage in the picturesque Franconian Forest, situated in the quiet, idyllic outskirts of Elbersreuth. Perched on a high plateau, 550-600 metres above sea level, our cosy home offers breathtaking views of the Franconian Forest mountains, including the "Döbra" as well as the Fichtelgebirge with the "Ochsenkopf" and "Schneeberg". It is the perfect retreat for those seeking tranquillity in nature and wanting to enjoy the beauty of rural Franconia.
Inside the WeberhÀuschen, guests will find a rustic atmosphere, made even cosier by a warm wood-burning stove. The accommodation offers enough space for up to 11 people, including a sleeping loft that is ideal for children. The eat-in kitchen is available as a social centre and can also be used as an additional sleeping area. Facilities also include a walk-in shower/WC, an additional guest toilet on the upper floor and a sofa bed in the living room. For the maximum comfort of guests, it is possible to bring or hire bed linen.
The outdoor area invites you to linger in a rural idyll. The terrace is equipped with a barbecue and a wood-fired grill for cosy campfire evenings. Thanks to the almost barrier-free design, the WeberhÀuschen is also easily accessible for wheelchair users. A small, insulated log cabin offers an additional bedroom, and the proximity to the village playground makes our accommodation an ideal place for families.
Numerous activities and excursions await you in the surrounding area of Elbersreuth. The WeberhÀuschen serves as the perfect starting point for hikes, bike tours and explorations in the Land of Franconia. Regional highlights include Kulmbach with its Plassenburg castle and beer museum, the toy museum in Sonneberg and the festival city of Bayreuth.
