Welcome to Costa Vista #2! Imagine being able to sun-tan, read a book, sip a cocktail or have a cup of tea with the reflective blue, green and white colors of the nearby Caribbean sea complementing the picture.

Perhaps you may prefer a leisurely walk to submerge yourself in the calm blue waters of the Caribbean Sea to swim or dive. Spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea from every terrace, veranda and patio on all three levels of this fantastic Townhouse including a 180 degree view from the roof terrace!

Located within a short distance of the West Coast beach, supermarket, restaurants and duty free shopping; Costa Vista offers affordable holiday luxury on the Gold Coast of Barbados. This spacious townhouse is located within development of 7 town homes, and affords comfortable living with all equipment and utilities included. An inclined driveway leads to the front of the unit and its patio entrance. The villa is on a fairly steep hill (which accounts for the awesome views!). This might not be suitable for individuals with disabilities and older individuals.

Introducing Costa Vista #2: On the ground level there are 2 bedrooms including a master bedroom with attached bathroom with tub/shower. The second bedroom has two twin beds. Downstairs on the lower level there are two more bedrooms including a second master bedroom and another bedroom with 2 twin beds. There is also a full bathroom with shower on the lower floor. The second floor and roof top deck is where all the excitement is with a large open concept kitchen flowing onto a spacious living area and covered patio. A sweeping staircase leads up onto the rooftop deck where one can experience views that are out of this world. The roof top is perfect for relaxing, tanning or having a sip while watching the sun set.

All living areas have air-conditioning with ceiling fans to dining room, lounge and main bedrooms. Unit location on a hill may not be suitable for wheelchair access or very young children.

No smoking and no pets allowed.

Not suitable for wheelchair users since Costa Vista #2 is on top of a hill.

Roof terrace 550 sq ft with table and chairs external electrical sockets and lighting. Patio furniture on level 2 terrace. Shared pool with gazebo. Car parking for one cars.

Coast/Beach
Fitts village beach is 500 yards away. Paynes beach is 5 mins by car with a variety of water sports including skiing, snorkeling and wind surfing.

Golf
Sandy Lane and Royal Westmorland less than 10 mins drive. Barbados Golf Club and Rockley Golf Club 30 minutes drive to the south coast.

Travel
Grantley Adams International airport is a 30 minute drive from Costa Vista. We can arrange transfers (price not included).

Distances
Fitts village is 500 yards away, while Hole Town is a 7 min drive. The capital Bridgetown is 10 mins by car. Oistins, St. Lawrence Gap and the south coast is 30 minutes drive.

Neil and Sonya were amazing from booking to the very last minute. Extremely easy check in process and were very helpful with advice along the way. Location was amazing with short walks to beach and restaurants. And you can’t beat the ocean views from the pool and rooftop patio.

Fabulous villa and holiday

Wonderful time at Costa Vista 2

We had a wonderful month at Costa Vista 2. The location is perfect for accessing the beaches and restaurants on the west coast. The pool and the views from it were a place we enjoyed. The unit is well appointed and fully equipped. The kitchen has all that you would need. The living and bedrooms are quite comfortable. The views from the rooftop and patio are spectacular. We saw many a sunset while overlooking the water. Neil and Sonya are very responsive and Samantha’s weekly cleaning kept the place spotless. We will be back!!!

Paradise No Doubt!

My husband and I spent our Honeymoon here and everything was perfect! The home is beautiful and the views are spectacular. We enjoyed late night swims in the pool to cool off and morning conversations with the monkeys. We couldn't have had a better location. The home is literally minutes from the beach, a grocery store, and a bus stop. We didn't need to rent a car because of the convenience of the location. The people were so sweet and genuine, and the food was fantastic. We even learned how to make Macaroni Pie and did it at home one night. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed and more and to top it all off Vishal (the local property manager) was so kind and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed during our 2 week stay. Hope to make another trip in the future....THANKS for letting us enjoy your home in paradise.

Fabulous visit

We have just returned from a fabulous stay at the villa. We miss our morning coffee on the deck outside the living room, our evening glass of wine on the top deck watching the incrediable sunsets and our afternoons lazing around the pool. The villa was perfect for us. Clean and comfortable and it quickly started to feel like home. With 3 levels and 4 bedrooms it was nice that there was a washroom on each floor. Wifi was excellent and even with only basic cable there was still a wide range of channels available. The entire renting process went very well with Neil and Sonya responding very quickly to emails. They provide detailed information about the area. They were also very flexible regarding early check in as the unit had not been occupied the evening before our arrival and they let us check out later to accommodate our late flight home. Elma meet us when we arrived and was very helpful and friendly. She was easily accessible by phone if you had any questions or concerns. The location was good for us as we wanted a week to relax. It was quiet and away from traffic . You would need to use the bus or rent a car if you want to visit the beautiful beaches or see the sights. Il Tempio Italian restaurant is just at the bottom of the hill. We had an excellent dinner there one night and happy hour with a gorgeous sunset another evening. Yes there are many stairs and it is located up a hill but my 74 year old husband who has issues with his feet and legs was fine..he just took his time. Jordans supermarket is just at the bottom of the hill and they have a shuttle service that will drive you home after you shop . The local bus is also just at the bottom of the hill. We rented a car from Stoutes car rental. They delivered the car to the villa and picked it up there. I do not know how they compare in price but the service was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the villa and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants some time in paradise.

Great view and location!

We had an absolutely fabulous stay! The view from the property, upper deck, and pool area were fabulous. The house is centrally located and provided easy access to everywhere we wanted to go on the island. There are several fantastic beaches with beach bars very close to the property and it's just minutes away from Quatro Passi. Sonya arranged to have the house cleaned mid-way through our stay and we had refreshed sheets and towels which was a pleasant surprise. We had a group of 4 adults and 3 pre-teen age kids. The way the bed rooms were arranged each family had their own floor which was nice. I highly recommend!

Better than the pictures show

The townhouse is very well-designed, well-furnished, and well-maintained. The property is very clean and nicely landscaped and the pool is fantastic. The views are splendid. The pictures don't do justice to this property. The owners Neil and Sonya, and the staff Elma and Samantha, are also very friendly and helpful. Our only issue was with parking: The unit only has one assigned parking spot, and this spot is difficult to get into with a larger vehicle, especially when the neighboring unit (also a vacation unit it seems) has visitors with a car. This may not be an issue for most people, but if you do plan on parking It is worth discussing your parking plans with Neil before booking. There is also virtually no visitor parking on site or nearby. Again, this will not be a problem for most people, but for those like us with friends and family on the island it can be a significant challenge. The property is fully enclosed and gated and is ideal for quiet vacationers, and is definitely NOT ideal for those like us who are sure to have visitors. It is also worth noting that parties, i.e. group gatherings of any sort are prohibited. Had I known all these things before booking I might have reconsidered, mainly out of consideration for the tenants and guests of the other units. That said, my family had such an unforgettable time that I have no regrets about having stayed here.

Absolutely Fantastic

A wonderful eight days in Barbados to celebrate my wife’s 60th birthday with family and friends. Costa Vista # 2 was just perfect. Everything was excellent, nothing at all to complain about. Staff was very good and receptive to us. Our visiting friends from U.S. were very impressed. The morning and evening views of the Caribbean Sea are awesome. Beautiful condo!

This is our second stay in Neil and Sonya's lovely condo. The condo is clean, comfortable and fairly well stocked. A few lights and the toaster were not working but everything else was fine. We made breakfast and dinner in the condo every day. It was great to have a washer and dryer, although we usually hung our clothes on the line to dry. The air conditioning was used in the evenings. The condo is in a friendly, residential neighborhood and is a short walk ( downhill) to Fitts Beach and to Jordans supermarket. We explored the island with our rental car but spent lots of time at the condo either in the pool or on the balcony- the views are fantastic. There are a lot of stairs both outside and inside the condo. Several mornings we were treated to watching the visiting monkeys in the tress. We appreciated the free long distance calling to Canada. We have stayed at numerous VRBO accommodations in North America and the Caribbean and would certainly consider returning to Costa Vista.

Good base for a holiday

We booked this rental house for 8 people and it accomodated us all well, so we didn't feel cramped or on top of each other. The house is a set of 7 tearraced houses, with the manager to the property living at number one. The house is set on four floors, with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom in the basement, another 2 bedrooms, both with small balconies and a bathroom on the ground floor. There was then an open plan kitchen and living room on the next level with a small balcony and finally a roof terrace which had the washing lines one side and some sun chairs the other side. The stairs are open plan format which were not a problem for us but i would not recommend it for the less able or children under five due to safety issues. We used the air con in the bedrooms at night and just the ceiling fans in the living room during the day. Being short i found it hard to open the kitchen window to get a through breeze and had to climb onto the work surface to do this as the window handle is broken to slide the window open, not a problem for me but not good for the less able. the alternative would be to use the air con, so not an issue. There is a very steep drive and as we had a large car didn't feel safe driving to the top as the car was starting to tip. The manager was brilliant and offered us another parking space lower down. The kitchen was well equipped electrically, but we had to ask for some extra bowls as there were only 3 on our arrival. Bowls were provided instantly from the managers own kitchen. Wifi was good for a rental property, good connection if close to the box. Pool is shared with 6 other houses but we were the only ones in it most of the time, monkeys liked to watch us some days, which my daughter thought was funny. Pool, house and the gardens are well maintained. Bathroom towels and beach towels are provided. The hot water ran out if we all had showers at the same time , so we had to use the back up water a few times. Washing machine is good but again you need the hot water from the solar panels so hard to find the right time to use it if you go out for the day. Didn't use the tumble drier as we put all our washing on the roof to dry. We had an amazing holiday here and loved watching the cruise liners from the roof terrace, especially at night. We love Barbados and used to live here and a holiday in this house didn't dissappoint. Manager was great and the maid came in twice during a 2 week stay.

Beautiful Barbados home in perfect location

Costa Vista 2 is a beautiful slice of paradise! The home is located in a great spot: a short walk to the supermarket, beach access, a quick drive to Bridgetown, and with an amazing view. We were a bit disappointed that the bathroom on the main floor was not working. It made it necessary to travel all the way downstairs to the bedroom to use the facilities. We were made aware of this upon check-in, but we thought it was going to be repaired during our stay. Being that was our only complaint, we would highly recommend Costa Vista 2 to any and all. For starters, working with Neil was an entirely pleasurable experience!! He is so outgoing and friendly, and prompt with answers for all questions during the booking process as well as the time leading up to vacation. The home itself is beautiful inside and out. Like I mentioned above, the location could not be better! Everything you need is a very short distance away. It is well apportioned and the pool area is the perfect size. We thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas and New Years vacation in Barbados thanks to Neil and his beautiful home, Costa Vista 2!!! If you don't try it you are missing out!

Beautiful, spacious villa with fabulous views

My wife and I had a fantastic, relaxing month at Costa Vista #2 back in February-March 2016. The villa is beautiful and in great condition. It is comfortable and has a great view of the west coast of Barbados and of the Caribbean. The beach is a 5-10 minute walk away (with a good bit of exercise coming back up the hill afterwards). The main road with bus connections to the towns and elsewhere is only a 5 minute walk away. The roof terrace offers a great place to sunbathe or watch the sunset over the Caribbean, and the balcony is a fabulous place for breakfast and to watch the monkeys and birds. Ms Evelyn was there to greet us and make us feel welcome, and Ms Annice came regularly to keep the place spotless. Neil (the owner) was very quick to respond to any queries we had over the month by text/e-mail. There are plenty of great restaurants within a bus ride, plus Jordans supermarket down the hill if you want to cook for yourself. Try Wendy's neighbourhood bar for great (and cheap) local cuisine - it's up Risk Road which is about 15 minutes' walk away - or a short drive. All in all, we can't recommend Costa Vista #2 highly enough. We would return now if we could and definitely aim to get back there sometime in the not too distant future.

Fantastic Stay at Costa Vista

My first visit to Barbados was amazing! I would highly recommend Costa Vista #2. The well appointed house had all the amenities you could possibly need. I loved the swimming pool! You can't ask for a better view of the ocean than from the rooftop balcony. The location is so convenient as well. Five minute walk to the bus line, grocery store and Fitts Village beach, which is a very quiet and relaxing beach, equipped with beach chairs and umbrellas for a small fee. The owners, Neil and Sonya, were so accommodating and were always readily available to answer any questions. Definitely consider Costa Vista #2 for your next stay in beautiful Barbados!

Excellent Vacation Home!

We traveled here as extended family. The layout was great...master, then 2 twins on basement level (with full bath), main floor had another master, then 2 twins (and full bath), upstairs was kitchen and living quarters. Wonderful to have A/C in all rooms!!! We saw the local chickens (children named them Royal, Raisin, and Grape) and monkeys (Plumeria, Richard, Strawberry, and Nut) from our house and balcony. Supermarket is right down the street, though, if you have transportation, I recommend Massey grocery stores inland...prices are better and shopping is much more modern. Beach close to the property is very rocky...recommend water shoes for this beach. LOVED Boatyard beach and Pebbles Beach...so kid friendly! Wonderful unit, everyone was so friendly...if we get to come back, we will want to stay there again!!!

Great stay at a great rental!

Our week at Costa Vista was spectacular! You're within a 5-10 minute walk of a supermarket, restaurant, bus stop and the beach. Fitts Village is between Bridgetown and Holetown, the two main cities in Barbados, and you aren't far from either. You can either take the bus, or rent a car (which is what we did). The listing is very accurate. The apartment was clean, and the pictures are current. It's just as nice as it looks, no mirages or outdated pictures here. The owner and property manager gave us great service and responded promptly to our questions. A couple of our favourite aspects were: You have a full kitchen: oven, fridge, dishwasher, toaster, microwave etc, which is great to cook some meals yourself. The living room had a TV. The listing says very basic cable I believe, but there was a good number of channels. The internet worked very well throughout the apartment. There is a rooftop deck with a barbecue that I really enjoyed. You have a great view of the water, and we watched the sunset up there every evening. It's a nice place to lay in the sun throughout the day as well. The only thing that I would caution potential renters about is that this is located on a steep hill. We didn't have a problem getting up and down, but it wouldn't be very friendly to elderly guests or wheelchairs. For the general population, it's fine. I would not hesitate to recommend this rental to others, and I would definitely stay here again if I return to Barbados.

Costa Vista Fitts Village

Excellent location with supermarket, and restaurants in walking distance. Excellent beach steps away, great snorkelling and swimming. Views from the villa a great especially at sunset as you face west from upper deck. Car is recommended but not necessary since there is a bus stop at the end of the street. The owners are very attentive and if things are not working they get it fixed right away. We were two retired couples in our 60s and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Visit to Costa Vista Dec to Jan '13-'14

We just returned from Barbados after having an amazing stay at the Costa Vista villa from Christmas Day to New Years. It was warm, comfortable and very convenient to the grocery store and beach. We really enjoyed our stay at your villa. Neil went above and beyond to make our visit comfortable by arranging transport (2 vehicles) to transport us (family of 9) from the airport to his villa on Christmas day when no transport was available. When we arrived at the villa the fridge was stocked with all the essentials plus i.e. sword fish. We were able to feed our entire family on Christmas Day when most places were closed. He also arranged for 2 rental vehicles to meet us at the villa as our reservations were cancelled without any warnings. It made our stay the more enjoyable and because of his efforts in making our stay so comfortable and stress free, we want to return to Barbados and stay at his villa in the future.

Highly Recommended

We spent a lovely week at the Costa Vista #2. There were 2 couples and each had a master suite on a separate floor. The home is in a very convenient location and has all the amenities you need for a fantastic vacation. We highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a comfortable home away from home. Neil and Sonya, thanks for letting us rent your home. We hope to return to Barbados and rent from you in the future.

GREAT ESCAPE for anyone Looking for A HIDEOUT or ROMANCE or JUST CHILLING OUT

I spent 7 days with my Teenage and Young adult children and we had a BLAST. very suitable for 6 adults with lots of room to fit ever individual mood on any given day. just relaxing , Swim , take a stroll Listen to music or watch TV. The view was spectacular from the ROOFTOP. Location was perfect for transportation and food shopping. Perfect for travelers with out a car. The BEACH was just a stone throw down the hill and across the street. Early morning breeze was more than welcomed by all and the GREEN Monkeys were a thriller with their playful antics and presence with no fare of any one. Off all the Villa was well accommodating for us in all sense of the word VERY MUCH AT HOME. I know for the last three years of visiting the Island this was the BANG for the BUCKS compared to some of the more expensive Apartments on the Coast. I know I will be making future reservations and will be recommending COSTA VISTA 2 all my friends who ever plans to visit Barbados. In Love COSTA VISTA 2 Renter MD USA

Lovely Views in Beautiful St.James

My family and I had a lovely time here. We were greeted by the property managers who were very nice and helpful. Beautiful mountainside views and lovely modern condo. Short bus trip to Holetown which is great for those shoppers. Local beaches were all beautiful. My advice is to rent a car as the hillside walk to the condo can be a bit much if you are not as fit as you used to be (especially with groceries)! Otherwise, my family would love to stay again!!

Our holiday 2011

well where can I start? The property was as expected. the photos were spot on. it was clean & tidy although we really didn't spend much time there. The pool was excellant although we did have some noisy neighbors of the monkey variety! I wasn't sure who was watching who! What a fantastic experience. The house is on a steep hill so thank goodness we had hired a car. however, I would recommend this to ensure you get the full flavour the Bajan way of life. the people are wonderful, very friendly & always willing to help you out. Vishel was a lovely polite man who came regularly to check everything was ok for us at the house & he gave us some good advice on where to go.thank you Vishel. You have to visit Surfside which is situated on the beach in Holetown. Mullins beach, which is another 10 mins (approx) along the same road is small & friendly. While you are there dine in Mullins restaurant. Food is lovely & the service is outstanding. We also ate at Zacchios & Just Grilling(in Holetown) and Scarletts - cocktails are fab! Our favourite beach was Dover at St Lawrence Gap. A catarmaran day trip on Cool Runnings is a must. We had a fantastic time swimming with the turtles. The crew were wonderful. We will be going back for our 30th Wedding Anniversary in 2013 & it can't come quick enough.

Barbados experience 2010 / 2011

A wonderful island offering fantastic sea and beaches. The fresh local fish is an experience of a lifetime. Most local Bajans are pleased to welcome you to their island. A must to use regularly are the rum shacks!! (especially John Moores bar). Our villa offers good views to the sea with plenty of opportunity to sunbathe and enjoy the pool in a secure and safe setting. The availability of sun loungers would greatly enhance the enjoy9ment.
