I've been going to Rocky Point for 35 years and know what to expect with this unit having no exception. I ask questions as to know what I'm getting into. We specifially asked if the pools and slides were open as this trip was just our family and no friends. We figured we try a new place and the pictures of the slides looked great. Well after a confirmation email that the slides and pools were open we arrive to find half of the slides open and half of the pools. The slides that were closed were the ones we were excited to use. After notifying the front desk they said they are open just not 100%. Secondly, the shower heads in our unit were clogged but not the point of no water pressure but to the point where water came out of 4 nozzels like a pressure washer. Not a big deal if you could just remove some calcium build up but that was not the case. It actually hurt when the water hit your body. We're used to lower water press so this was shoking. After asking they informed us the condo owner would need to replace the heads. We pressed and they were able to find different heads but with the opposite issue. They were so built up with sand, yes sand, that they just barely got you wet. Our dishwasher also had mold growing on the drawers. Lastly, they rent/sell condos on lower floors as they are building the uppers floors. You could rent a 3rd floor unit while the 4th is being built. They have 11 more floors to go! What happens when items fall into the kids pool directly below?
