Sonoran Sea W-708 Salty Sea Retreat Rustic Style Oceanfront Condo

Condo with commanding 7th-floor views. Deluxe 3 bedroom has ample space for most guests. One nice touch is the combination of bunk beds and a Queen sized bed in the extra bedroom, great for groups with kids. Bedroom three offers a King and it's own TV DVD combo.

Pools line the beach, and your very large patio hovers over it all. The kitchen is comfortable to work in, and the condo is decorated throughout with fine rustic furnishings and touches of the tropics. Think Tommy Bahama! The resort amenities are complete and accessible to town is easy, with everything nearby. Some things that are within walking distance include;

All around great!

Love the location and the beach is not as rocky as other areas! The third bedroom with bunk beds is perfect for when traveling with a big group. We had 7 adults. 2 couples and 3 singles. Plenty of space. Could have used extra kitchen towels (we had 2 that were microfiber) and no hot pads but we made do.

Nice overall, could use some basics

The condo was as pictured and there was plenty of room for 4 adults and three teens. Sonoran Sea is probably one of the quieter condo complexes as it is a bit older than some in Sandy Beach. Note that the bedrooms at the back of the condo will have to deal with week-end party/band noise from the clubs just up the street from the condo. The beach and pool at Sonoran Sea also weren't as crowded as some other condos as Sandy Beach which we appreciated. Never a problem getting a palapa on the beach or chairs at the pool (even on Labor Day week-end). The condo needs a few staples; there were only 2 spoons and 4 forks. We ended up buying some plastic utensils to use. There were no dish towels and only one pot holder. Additionally there was no frying pan. The direct TV cable log-in has not been updated in a while and therefore there is no cable available. We brought our Roku but the wifi was not strong enough to support streaming services. The location was the best thing about this condo.

Very nice condo

This condo is very nice and the location is great and the condo is large and comfortable. We really enjoyed the large patio area. The front door to the condo was very difficult (and loud) to close. Unfortunately the resort is old and needs some major upgrading. Some of the issues were COVID related but some were not. For example, the pool water was green and disgusting and the pool where the swim up bar is located was closed for repairs. The email we received prior to our trip stated the pool repairs would be completed before our arrival but that wasn't the case. There is no pool towel service so you definitely need to bring your own towels. In addition, the resort didn't allow any additional towels to be brought to the room and told us we were responsible for washing our towels and linen so we bought laundry soap and did our own linen service. Thankfully the condo has a full sized washer and dryer although the dryer doesn't work very well. So overall, the condo is nice. Unfortunately it's located at a not-so-great aging resort.

Memorial Day Weekend Rocky Point

Everything was great. The Beach Front condo was excellent. Everything worked great. Casago was great to work with. We had a really wonderful trip. Hope to do it more often and this would be a favorite choice
