The property is beautiful and beyond belief. The only thing that we didn’t like was that we were mislead into something that ended up being a sales presentation. There are a lot of people trying to sell you on amenities around the property. Outside of that annoyance, we had a great time and would definitely go back.

. This is our second trip to this hotel. The best of it is the staff. They are friendly and courteous, wonderful hard working people that make you feel great The staff at the North Bar ( Juan Gomez , Juana , Julio, Yesica are the best. The food is delicious and there are 10 restaurants to choose from. The entertainers Marionell, Yudelkis and Ronill to mention just a few are wonderful and multi faceted. They make your stay great! The pool is beautiful and the beach is within steps. They have entertainment for all ages and these guys make you feel young and happy. We will definitely come back. The rooms are clean and comfortable with toiletries . Room service is amazing. Paradisus Punta Cana is a great place for a relaxing and fun vacation The only thing I disnt like was the mosquito bites. Next time I will bring medication.

Beautiful property, staff is kind, but not responsive at all, they smile and yes you. Also we were not able to make reservations for dinner and everywhere we went the staff wanted money for a table which is completely unethical. We paid for a all inclusive, couldn't get reservations for dinner in 4 days of our stay, everything completely booked... Staff didn't help but rather took money from us to make reservations and when we showed up at the restaurants, they denied us sitting. I'm completely shocked at how the staff requests 'bribes' for everything.. Even at the beach, we spent $35 for a private bed.. the staff took the money, then never came back to service us for drinks or check up on us at all.

The staff at the reception are terrible. But the staff at the restaurants and the staff by the pool. We’re fantastic. The staff at the front desk were rude. When you ask them questions. I felt like I was bothering them. I did not feel welcome. But the staff by the pool especially Santo, Edwin were fantastic, professional with a welcome smile every morning. Gorge in Gabby was a gentleman. He has been a pleasure to meet. The two cooks by the kitchen Luis and jarip were a wonderful. They made our breakfast lunch and dinner enjoyable. Besides the rude people by the reception desk our family had dream vacation. The dancing party at night the Zumba by the pool was fun. We had a ball. This place is family oriented. The young and the old will have a great vacation. Thank you Santo and George

Accommodations - Filthy and Riddled With Mosquitoes The hotel photos are EXTREMELY misleading. The rooms are really rundown. With that aside, the filthiness is cringeworthy and makes for many sleepless nights, 6 to be exact. No matter how many times we requested that the rooms be thoroughly cleaned, they came up short and the same level uncleanliness remained. I'm talking about dirty bathroom mirrors, counters shower glass, filthy handles, dirty toilets, broken windows and greasy surfaces. All of this on arrival. It was the topic amongst several families we met throughout the resort. The rooms are surrounded by man made pools of water. Everywhere you looked guests were bit up from the knees down. Our bathroom window was broken so the issue was heightened. I cannot begin to tell you about the bites we endured. We have yet to recover from the volume. The food is decent. The beach is nice. You will need to get out early to grab a spot or pay for a private bed. The pool is good but overwhelmed with Paddle Boats steered by people who continually bump into you. This happened with me while swimming with my ten month old. The grounds are well maintained but the furniture in the common areas is worn, rusted and dirty. This was our fourth trip to the Dominican Republic and I have to say overall worst stay here ever. The leave your wallet at home philosophy is non-existent. Be prepared to tip your way to the top. If you value your money, consider a different hotel or destination.

The staff were all nice and very helpful. The staff at the Sunset Bar, North Bar and Lapapa were excellent. I would go back just to see these wonderful people. The room itself was a bit disappointing. Had we known we would have upgraded. You can’t get an understanding based on the Travelocity page. The TV never worked. Even as we left we continued to learn about features we had access to but were not adivsed about. Scheduling dinner was a nightmare. Very little information about the importance of making reservations. Frankly, they need to have someone meet guests at the airport so you don’t get high jacked by the time share persons, as we did, which wasted 3.5 hours of our Friday. The 5 hour flight delay by AA on departure started the vacation out on a bad foot. I will vist this resort again because the personal are that good.

Food was great, staff was friendly and supportive. The beach was nice. The property especially the rooms were a bit outdated, we did see a big cockroach in our room and outside the building. Our neighbor complained of a lizard in her bed. Our shower was leaking from people showering upstairs which the staff had to come fix. Not impressed at all with the place.
