Riverside cottage with hot tub - Le chaga - Pet friendly!

Our charming cottage is the perfect getaway for those seeking tranquility and countryside natural beauty. Nestled alongside a picturesque river, our cottage offers amazing views, the soothing sounds of the river, and a serene atmosphere.

Just 40 minutes from downtown Quebec City with its renowned restaurants and attractions, it's also the ideal location for a nature getaway, exploring the countryside with hiking and biking trails or simply take a leisurely stroll through the boreal forest.

The cottage is built on a 95 000 sqft riverside property with two ponds. The yard and river are separated by a steep slope, offering a picture perfect view of the river and surrounding mountains. Having only one neighboring house, you'll have all the tranquility you need for your retreat.

You'll experience clear, star-filled skies, perfect for stargazing around a crackling campfire. Fall asleep to the soothing sounds of crickets and wake up to the cheerful melodies of birds outside your window.

The building offers three bedrooms, one full bathroom and one small bathroom. A washer and dryer, full size kitchen, all cooking essentials and utensils, beddings and towels are included. A Nespresso and drip coffee machine are also available.

For the patios, two dining areas for four and seven people respectively have been set up. The larger dining area is covered and lighted to enjoy your meal under any weather. A hot tub running year round is located on the bottom patio next to the covered dining area and BBQ, perfect for entertaining!

For the young ones, cutlery, plates, cups and a pack'n play are also available.

For pets, a dog bed, a pooper scooper set as well as bowls are on site.

Our cottage offers unique tranquility and privacy while being close to the great ski centre “Le Relais” (~30 min drive). We are located within a one hour drive from some of the most popular ski attractions of the province including Le Mont Ste-Anne and Stoneham as well as just over an hour to our personal favorite Le Massif ! Come discover the beauty of Quebec with all of the winter sports and activities readily available. Cross country skiing, backcountry, snow shoeing, winter mountain biking and much more!

Unlimited wifi of 60 MBits is included in your booking. Being so close to nature, cellular network from some providers may be limited. A landline is available on site for local calls and emergencies only.

A generator is on site in case of power outage.

During wintertime, DO NOT proceed down the entrance unless you have an all wheel drive AND winter tires. The driveway is very steep and can be dangerous. Even if you make it down, you might not be able to make it back up if you do not have that sort of vehicle. If you don’t have winter tires and an AWD, there is a parking spot at the top to the right of the driveway, next to the garbage cans. Failure to comply might lead to having to call a towing to make it up the hill.
