One of the standout features of Casa Moreno is the spectacular views. Whether you're taking in the endless rainforest mountains to the east and north, the new Pez Vela marina and ocean to the west and south, or the Jaco peninsula up the coast, you'll be amazed by the beauty of your surroundings. With clear air and many large windows throughout the villa, you'll enjoy these views from nearly every room.

Inside, Casa Moreno is just as impressive. Built in 2015, the villa is designed to be enjoyable, guest-friendly, and comfortable. With 280 square meters (3000 square feet) of living space inside and 2000 square feet of balcony, decks, and patios outside, there's plenty of room for up to 10 guests to relax and enjoy their stay. All the furnishings, utensils, towels, linens, and appliances are kept fully stocked, and all the furniture is custom made in Sarchi, Costa Rica.

Casa Moreno features four bedrooms and three full baths, providing space and privacy for everyone. The large master bedroom has a king bed, a private bath, and large closets. Bedroom two, located on the same level as the master, features an oversized bunk bed with a queen on the bottom and a double on the top, as well as a full bath. Bedrooms three and four, both with queen beds, are located on the lower level and have access to the balcony at the pool level as well as the house interior. There's a large full bath located between these two bedrooms.

All the beds are new, custom made, and have orthopedic mattresses, comfort toppers, and protective covers for both beds and pillows. All the bedrooms have large cedar wood closets, custom made furniture, comfortable beds, and privacy from other areas. All the bedrooms and the main living area are air-conditioned with individual thermostats, and there are ceiling fans in the upper bedrooms and living area as well as on the balcony. The bathrooms are large, all tile, and feature good showers and fixtures, and all are stocked daily with fresh towels and washcloths by the maid.

The main area of Casa Moreno is open and consists of the living, dining, and kitchen areas. All the ceilings are high and made of teak wood, and there are many large Mediterranean-style windows to provide an indescribable view. The living room is homey and comfortable, with a seven-seat sectional sofa, a large recliner, one other cushioned chair, and a large coffee table. The entertainment center features a Sony Bravia flat screen 50-inch SMART LED TV connected for satellite reception, several HBO and Cinemax movie channels, NFL and sports channels, and many stations in both Spanish and English. There's also a stereo with Bluetooth and a Netflix and streaming compatible Blu-ray DVD. There's high-speed fiber optic cable WiFi internet access throughout the house.

The spacious kitchen has a large island with six cushioned back stools, making it a favorite gathering place for cocktails and conversation while enjoying the views. There's a large, double door refrigerator with icemaker, a large gas stove with oven, a dishwasher, a microwave, and all the small appliances one might need. The cedar cabinets are stocked with enough utensils for ten people. The dining room has a large table with eight cushioned chairs, where you can enjoy the view while you dine.

The panoramic views from the kitchen, dining, and living areas are of the Pacific Ocean, mountains, and the town of Quepos. The fabulous views are a unique feature of Casa Moreno.

As you step through the door from the kitchen onto a deck, you'll be amazed by the breathtaking views of the ocean and marina from the full length balcony. With large tables and cushioned chairs, this outdoor space is perfect for dining, socializing, or just soaking up the scenery. You'll also find a brand new six-burner gas grill (bbq) here, perfect for cooking up some fresh fish caught by local fishermen.

One of the highlights of the property is the private pool, which can be accessed from the balcony off the kitchen, from inside the house at the entry, or from either of the two lower bedrooms. The pool area is a great place to relax, with plenty of space for lounging and seating. You'll find two tables with six chairs and eight high-quality chaise loungers near the pool, as well as areas of sun and shade. The pool has a depth of five feet throughout, making it great for swimming, but please supervise any children who cannot swim. The pool is well-lit for evening swims, and the walls around the pool feature a beautiful Costa Rican landscape mural painted by a local artist. See if you can spot all the different local species of flora and fauna depicted in the mural!

The tropical landscaping on the property attracts a wide variety of birds, butterflies, and monkeys, providing both privacy and a truly unique Costa Rican experience. You'll likely see more birds and butterflies at the villa than in the parks, with an amazing variety of colors and species to discover.

Our dedicated manager and concierge team, Sabrina, Mefi, and the CR vacation team, are here to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. They can help with your travel arrangements, greet you upon arrival, check you in, answer your questions, and even help with your tours and travel arrangements. With their local knowledge, you'll travel with drivers who are familiar with the area and enjoy the very best tours available. Both the concierge service and daily maid service are included in the price, and there's even the option to have a chef come to the villa and prepare your meals for a reasonable price.

All in-country transportation, tours, and activities can easily be prearranged for you by Sabrina or Mefi, and we recommend a shuttle to and from the airport. If you prefer to explore on your own, Mefi can arrange a rental vehicle to be dropped off at the house. The villa has an ample supply of quality towels and linens, including towels for the pool and beach. There are also outdoor showers near the entry and pool level for washing off sand and sunblock lotion, and a laundry room with a washer and dryer on site. If you prefer, the maid will do your personal laundry for a reasonable fee.

Casa Moreno is conveniently located just off the Manuel Antonio road between Quepos and Manuel Antonio, with the town just one mile away, the beach two miles away, and Manuel Antonio Park three miles away. The property is situated near some of the best hotels in the area, with plenty of good restaurants nearby. For your peace of mind, the house is fenced, alarmed, monitored, and there's even a safe for added security. You'll also find covered parking just ten feet from the entrance.
