Rarotonga Island Villa 2

One of two modern villas located on the southern side of Rarotonga in the district of Titikaveka and just across the road from a beautiful and private part of the beach that is excellent for swimming and snorkelling. The home is on the main road so there will be some traffic noise.

Each Villa has two bedrooms the first with a queen size bed and the second two singles ideal for a family of four or two couples. The villa’s are screened and have fans for your comfort.

A nicely finished open plan kitchen and living area features a gas cook-top, microwave, fridge/freezer, electric fry pan, blender (for those tropical fruit smoothies) and coffee plunger in the kitchen and TV, VCR and a radio/cassette/CD player for you to play your music on in the lounge. There is also a dining room table and chairs.

This open plan area extends out onto a covered verandah where outdoor table and chairs and a barbecue are located for you to sear your fresh tuna and sip your evening cocktails.

A tiled bathroom with shower and vanity completes the house and there is a washing machine for your laundry needs.

Lovely position over the road from the beach some road noise but not annoying. Cottage was clean well set up and a pleasure to stay in. We spent most of our time eating outside on the Veranda which was lovely . We met some of the lovely local dogs during our stay , especially old Betty, we will be back.

The villa was spacious and equipped with everything we needed. The supply of books and snorkelling gear was an added bonus, as was the washing machine. We enjoyed being a mere 30 steps across the road to a gorgeous beach. As we like to snorkel, the villa was well positioned between two great spots - Aroa beach and Fruits of Rarotonga. We were a bit concerned before we went about the proximity to the road. It could be noisy at times but feel this is reflected in the reasonable price and it didnt impact on our overall enjoyment of the villa. The bedrooms are at the back of the villa, and traffic virtually disappears by 9pm, so we slept well every night. It is less than a 25 minute walk to Wigmores store which was very handy - particularly for their mango sorbet ice creams! Would defintely recommend this villa. Great value for money!

Great place to stay

The property is conveniently close to the beach, just a few steps across the road.Wigmores supermarket a 2 min drive away, they have most things you'll need as well as a takeaway. Great coffee a few houses down in the opposite direction. The property itself also has all you need. Full kitchen, washing machine, dinning table, comfy beds and a great shower

Happy little house next to the beach

Convenient location just 10 seconds walk to the beach / turtle excursions. All mod cons & thoughtful kitchen details provided. Plenty of parking. Very friendly cats & dogs amble by to say hello.

Perfect location

We had an amazing stay at the villa. Right across from the beach, perfect for rolling out of the bed and into the ocean. Also right across from several turtle snorkelling groups. A short walk to Wigmore's Superstore and a water tank to refill bottles which was necessary in the heat. Would recommend a car or scooter to get around as it is a little far from the main centres.

This was the second time staying at the property and it was just as comfortable and peaceful as the first time. Quiet location across the road from the beach and everything you need provided in the villa for a comfortable stay. We will probably be back!

Felt right at home

It was just like staying in a Bach in NZ - homely touches like books and games and some swimming gear left from previous families. Loved the plastic kayak too. Yes the road has some traffic, (during the day) but you are so close to a lovely swimming beach and we liked being away from the busyness of Muri personally. We felt really self contained and peaceful in the house.

Great wee house across the road from a beautiful beach

We loved our stay in this house. It had everything needed to be self sufficient and a beautiful beach just across the road that was perfect for swimming. It is on a main road so can be a little noisy during the day but wasn’t a problem at night. The bed was comfy and the shower was amazing. The only thing I could fault is the room that the toilet is in could be a little cleaner but other than that everything was perfect.
