Redwood Lodge rural retreat with superb views

The apartment is self contained with two balconies and BBQ area.
It is suitable for both summer and winter with both log burner and heat pump, and is suitably equipped for either short or long stay.
The open plan living area includes Smart TV and Netflix for your entertainment . We have fast internet connection and free Wi-Fi available.
Please note the living area is on the first floor. Access is by stairs and there are different levels within the living area.
The property shares rugged, native, landscaped grounds with the owners which you are welcome to enjoy.
There is a trampoline for the kids.
Come and meet our friendly, family dog on site and cows in the paddock.

The property is centrally located for all activities and attractions of the Nelson/Tasman area.
Mapua and Richmond within 15 mins drive
Nelson 25 mins
Start of Abel Tasman National Park 40 mins
Nelson Lakes within 1 hour.

Fine wine and dining, arts and crafts, markets, beaches and action. It's all here!
The beaches of Rabbit Island are just 10 minutes drive away and with easy access to the glorious beaches of the Abel Tasman, you are spoilt for choice for activities on the water. Take a boat ride, go kayaking or even kitesurfing at Tahuna Beach.

You are just minutes from the Tasman's Great Taste Trail and the local mountain biking is world class so maybe hire a bike and get biking!

The owners are on site and are happy to give you any advice on exploring the Tasman region.

The property will be thoroughly cleaned before and after your visit.

Great peaceful stay

We stayed for two nights with our toddler and enjoyed a peaceful stay. It was nice and close to Mapua and the facilities were comparable, modern and clean. Would stay again and is better value than the majority of places in Nelson itself

We are very familiar with the region and chose Anna's accommodation for its idyllic rural location which was ideally placed to explore in all directions. The home is very tastefully decorated, spacious and comfortable.- we wanted for nothing. Anna is an excellent 'host' - very welcoming and always available, but in a quiet, inobtrusive way - so important. Thank you, Anna.

We loved our stay. Anna was so helpful in suggesting things for us to do. We loved the beach at split apple rock. Enjoy your stay. The picnic area and grill were wonderful. And it was so nice to have a half bathroom in addition to the full bath.

Perfect for exploring Nelson region

This property is tranquil, well appointed, and is the perfect spot to explore the coastlines of Golden Bay, Abel Tasman, Mapua, Tahunanui, across to Nelson. We appreciated the thoughtfulness of our hosts, from before we arrived, with meticulous instructions on how to find the property, to a warm welcome, and while we were staying - Anna even saved our washing by bringing it inside when a sudden shower of rain threatened! ... A beautiful holiday home, with wonderful hosts. Thanks for a great stay.

Ahhhh, relaxation!!

The property is beautiful in an amazing setting! The hosts are friendly and helpful at the same time as being hardly noticed. It is a beautiful house with stunning views! A wine on the balcony, or breakfast, is great for destressing! Their Springer Spaniel will often great you home with a friendly woof and comes up for a fuss before heading back to her side. There are plenty of things to do relatively close by (minimum 10 min drive) , from cafes, glass factory, food markets, galleries, beaches, and escape rooms. The one problem with this place was that we had to leave.

Fabulous Redwood valley

What a fabulous stay we had in Redwood Lodge. Such a beautiful, spotlessly clean and well thought out property, with everything you could ever need. It was lovely sitting out on the balcony admiring the views and listening to the bird song. Anna and Guy are great hosts and made us feel so welcome.
