Adorable little house, nicely updated but has a musty smell when you walk in. Positioning of the TV to the couch is awkward and I can't imagine trying to hang out there with more than 2 people. The bed & futon are in the same room, with the bathroom, all up narrow, steep stairs. The bathtub needs some attention--mildew on the caulk as noted in other reviews. It was perfect for my teen daughter and I and just a 5 minute drive to the Civic Center, where we had our events. She was able to walk to Starbucks which was a bonus. We never messaged the hosts so I don't know how their communication is.

Tastefully decorated and pretty updated kitchen and pretty view as well. Could use a deep clean and some attention to detail and some freshening up. Cleaning cobwebs, wiping light switches
new rug maybe?Bath tub/shower is teeny tiny and trimmed with mildew. yucky. Shower mat was broken and mildewy as well Loved having a lake view
 felt a bit like fishbowl at night without curtains on the kitchen windows. Overall it was comfy for a few nights.

Lovely property with a great view! Very responsive hosts. Fully equipped and beautifully decorated. Good value’Two items to note:1. Bedroom and bathroom are upstairs, and the stairs are a bit steep.2. Bathroom is tiny. Worked ok for me and my friend. But my husband is 6’ 5” and would not have fit in the bathroom, especially the shower.

Peaceful in the city

2 Night Stay

Cozy, mostly modern, except for the bathroom. Steep stairs to the bedroom. Love the location. Made a few casts from shore, but didn't catch any fish. Walk around to the lakefront a bit steep and unsteady. Otherwise, enjoyed our stay!

Perfect location.

Spent 3 days at this beautiful place. Only 3 min to our daughters house. Perfect place for a couples getaway. Relaxing sitting in the back yard looking at the lake. The only thing it needs is a balcony or stairs from the back sliding door down to the back yard. We enjoyed our stay very cozy.

The downstairs had a musty smell from the washer and the bathroom door handle spring was broke which caused it to stick out and I cut my arm several times due to it. The place was centrally located for my Mayo clinic appointment and the kitchen was well stocked with stuff I wouldn't even have thought of bringing.

Stayed 3 nights for tests at Mayo. Good location. Quick drive to hospital. Nice two mile walk around Silver Lake. The house had everything we needed and was very comfy, except for the tv positioning. Hard to see from the couch.
