We stay at the Walnut Inn every time we travel on I-40. It is the perfect stopping point for us. They are pet-friendly and the rooms have been recently renovated. Being right next to the casino is nice too. No matter what time we arrive the casino grille is always open with incredible food. Service is very good as well.

The place was quiet but not the cleanest. Doors and light switches have not been cleaned in a long time. It is located right of the freeway making it convenient.

Excellent Value! Large, comfortable room with everything I needed. (There was no hair dryer in the room but they gave me one to use for the duration of my stay when I asked) Immaculately clean.The bed was great. The room door opened to the outside instead of an interior hallway which I don't usually care for but I felt very safe here. A little road noise but not bad. I made two special requests at the time of booking and they were both met. Very attentive and eager to please staff. I will definitely stay again. Highly recommended

This property is perfect for visiting family during the holidays. We stayed three days and the entire stay was quiet & very relaxing. The staff and owners were all very friendly. They are next door to the 4 star restaurant and the food there is absolutely amazing! Can’t wait to stay there again next month for Christmas.

Room was very clean, price was unbelievable. Staff very friendly and courteous. The road noise and air conditioning was loud, a unit in the back may cut some of the road noise for future stay. Take your own pillow. All in all perfect for a couple nights stay.
