We arrived at 8:00 am, but check in was only at 2:00 pm. The person at the front desk hesitated but agreed to keep our one bag so we can visit meanwhile. The fees you have to pay at arrival (not check in) is in cash only and you won’t receive the room key. No receipt will be given to you. When we came back after 2:45 pm it was an other man, who did not speak English neither Italian. He wanted to charged the fee again… we had no keys yet , didn’t know our room number and they were a mistake with the room on our bag tag and the one we were supposed to have. He entered the room our bag was tagged to , it was occupied and I was mortified. After some calls back and forth in a language I don’t know, It was chaotic and it took a while, that man sorted out. No apologies given. Arriving in the room: no paper toilet, no coffee maker, 1 cheap shampoo, mold in shower and squeaky shower fan/light. Not worth the price 102$/night. After some complain they gave us extra towel , extra cheap shampoo packet and toilet paper. Location was perfect tho , 15 min from the coliseum but I’m grading the service and quality of the hotel.
