BEWARE......DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!
The host of this property is absolutely crazy.. First beware of the cameras! We had snoring issues and one of the guest slept down on couch 2nd night & was freaked out as the camera tracked her every move. So from 11pm to 7am we put a towel on the camera the third night. Not during the day.
After the incident with the front door he used that towel over camera to kick us out!!!! The front door code stopped working on our third night, we called & he told me to pull on the door. So I did & the door handle (which was not tight in the first place) came off of door & I flew into a brick column. (bruises are severe). He went crazy on me. Told me to get the **** out of his house. Said we were destroying his house!! He called the maid and her husband (we think) and she was shocked he was kicking us out. We were there very little, NO partying and house in same condition as we got it. He went nuts on me and sooooo disrespectful when we were respecting his house. A strange house at that.. I have stayed at over 50 VRBO and never seen anything like this one. All the family stuff is around the house....weird! Toilet seats are all unstable and upstairs toilet clogs all the time! . The kitchen is a nightmare. can not find anything. Everything is thrown around in the cupboards. There are NO check in/check out policy forms to follow. We could not find the remote to the one & only TV eventhough there was 6 remotes by the TV! The one for TV we found under the couch on day 2. And that was GROSS. At least 10 years of food, toys and bugs! Never cleaned. Getting WiFI was another issue. He wasn't sure what the account was under and forgot part of it when he told me.
Do not plan on parking anywhere near the house!!! Street is full of cars that nobody moves. NO garage to use and the driveway is too steep for any car with a bike hitch. His personal truck is also in the driveway!!!! You have to trip on the basketball base that is behind the truck to take out trash, complete nightmare. Also electric extension cords coming out of the stair wall, tripping hazard as well as a FIRE hazard. During the process of getting kicked out we found out he lied to us. There is a splash pad in the backyard. We asked if we could use once & he said TOO complicated to turn on. Maid told us otherwise. We ended up stay ing but scared to death. If you break anything you will be thrown out. Insurance I bought would have paid for door. But he had to go CRAZY!!
