Lovely property and owners very pleasant, no English although I did realise this when we booked. Very beautiful but remote, not many restaurants /bars around, still it was the Auvergne so we shouldn't have been surprised! Donkeys appreciated the carrots

A beautiful location
The property was comfortable and well equipped. It was good to have everyday items provided. The hosts were helpful and friendly even though my French is not very good. It was not too far to travel for provisions. I would have liked to have more control over the heating as sometimes we were quite cold and seemed to have no way to make it come on. The location was very beautiful - we didn't really need to go exploring- but of course we did! Please pass on our appreciation to our hosts.

1 semaine en gîte à Chassagny (St Amandin, Cantal). Département très rural (verdoyant, montagneux, forestier, au pied des volcans d'Auvergne). Excellent accueil de nos hôtes et rien à redire sur le gîte. Voiture indispensable (routes très bien carrossées), à minima vélo pour proches balades (sportives à volonté). Amateur de fromage, régalez vous. Préférez à partir du ier avril, car avant, visites touristiques (chateaux, téléphérique, train touristique...) fermées

Sejour d'une semaine Février
Vacances en famille avec 2 enfants en bas âge. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le calme, l'espace tant intérieur qu'exterieur, la qualité des services, et l'accueil et la disponibilité des propriétaires. Nous y retournerons probablement à l'avenir pour découvrir la région l'été ! Nous recommandons sans aucune hésitation !!

PARFAIT
Maison très agréable et confortable, idéalement bien située. Pas de vis à vis, au calme total, à 1000m, et une vue superbe. Tous commerces à 10mn, des promenades et des paysages variées. Rien n'y manque. Les propriétaires sont sympas et réactifs. Bref, tout est PARFAIT pour un séjour qui semble trop court. On recommande sans réserve.

Si vous aimez l'authenticité, la pleine nature, les couchers de soleil flamboyants sur la chaine des volcans du Cantal, le tintement des cloches de nos copines les Salers, des nuits scintillantes d'étoiles,...alors cet endroit est fait pour vous ! Location ultra propre, décoration simple avec goût et le nec plus ultra......les propriétaires Isabelle et Jean Michel un couple vrai, chaleureux comme on en voit de moins en moins ...un seul regret : ne pas être restées une semaine de plus !! Nous reviendrons à coup sûr !!!

Vacances avec des amis dans un gite tres agreable avec une vue exceptionnelle et une meteo suprenante. Ideal pour randonner mais voiture necessaire pour les points les points les plus recherches. Apres la rando quel plaisir de retrouver la fraicheur et la vue panoramique. Accueil agreable et logement tres pratique.
