This cozy apartment is on the ground floor in a beautiful traditional Basque house. In a fantastic location with breathtaking views of the Nivelle valley, with beautiful green surroundings. The house is sunny with a large garden surrounded by nature, meadows, the forest and mountains . Located 8 km from St. Jean de Luz and the coast, you can choose every day between the sea and the mountains. The charming village of Ascain is 3 minutes away. The apartment of 40 m2 and capacity for 2/4 people, is with all amenities equiped. The living room includes a living / dining room 20 m2, with a modern kitchen (washing machine, dish washer, coffee, etc.), a cozy dining area and a comfortable lounge, with direct exit to the terrace and garden . The sofa / bed in the living room allows to host 2 more people.
   
The apartment does have a very quiet bedroom, with two single beds and spacious bathroom.
The living room, bathed in sunlight, does have access to a private terrace and garden to enjoy the outdoors and the nice view.

Ideally located gite

We stayed in this gite for 1 week and found it to be ideally located for access to San Sebastian as well as the many delightful and charming villages along this section of the Atlantic coast. The gite is modern and in spotless condition. It is functional and spacious in its layout. The bed was a little firm for our liking. We found the internet to be fast and reliable The owners live in a house adjacent to the gite and were most welcoming and keen to make our stay an enjoyable one. We would be more than happy to stay here again.

Superbe séjour

Séjour, trop court, de 2 jours pour "l'ascension". Le logement correspond aux photos. Tout est propre dans le studio. La literie est de bonne qualité. Le jardin est agréable. A 15 minutes de Saint-Jean de Luz et près des plus beaux villages du Pays-Basques, le logement est très bien situé.

Mitten im Grünen - Sonne und Morgentau

Helle, moderne und gepflegte Wohnung in freundlicher Nachbarschaft zu den Vermietern. Wir haben es sehr genossen abseits der Strand- und Vergnügungshektik der Küstenorte und am Rande des schönen Städtchens Ascain, in herrlicher Landschaft gelegen, einen wunderbaren Ruhepunkt gefunden zu haben. Very light and airy. Spotlessly clean and well maintained. Lovely views but can only be appreciated from the garden - very little view from the apartment. Good access to coast and country as well as local amenities. Although advertised for 2/4 people you would have to get on very well with the other two guests! Nowhere to store food other than the fridge and very little working top/counter top in kitchen. TV reception poor and no DVD/blue ray player. A fan would be useful, especially for sleeping. The owners live next door and are extremely welcoming.

Bien, mais...

La location correspondait à la description faite sur le site. Bon accueil du régisseur lors de l'entrée et de la sortie des lieux. Région magnifique où il fait bon vivre. Pour cette location, la voiture est indispensable. Concernant notre séjour, quelques déconvenues sonores de chantiers liés à la construction d'une maison mitoyenne dont les travaux commençaient à 08h00 et au remplacement de la toiture d'une autre maison mitoyenne. Hormis ces deux déconvenues, à noter la télécommande la télévision en panne et surtout une odeur désagréable dans l'appartement due certainement aux remontées de la fosse septique, le ballon d'eau chaude étant positionné dans la chambre. Ces remarques justifient de ne pas donner la note maximale. Mais en s'en affranchissant, ce fut une séjour très agréable.

In die schöne Natur des Baskenlandes eingebettet, versprüht Ihi-Toki Gemütlichkeit und Geborgenheit. Der großzügige Wohnraum sowie der ruhige und idyllische Garten laden ein die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Ihi-Toki ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die nähere Umgebung des französischen und spanischen Baskenlandes (Saint Jean de Luz, Hendaye, Bayonne, Biarritz & San Sebastian). Die Wohnung ist vollwertig ausgestattet und wird durch sehr bemühte und herzliche Gastgeber gepflegt und betreut. (Aufenthalt Juli 2015)

Erholsame 2 Wochen

Eine sehr stilvolle, schöne u. helle Wohnung; ruhig und sonnig gelegen. Tolle Terrasse und Garten. Wir haben uns dort 2 Wochen sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und absolut zurückhaltend. Die zur Verfügung gestellten Informationen sind super. Den Blick auf die Berge haben wir sehr genossen. Viel wandern, Fahrrad fahren, Ausflüge ans Meer (trotz Hauptsaison nicht überlaufen). Wir kommen gerne wieder, weil es noch so viel zu sehen und zu erkunden gibt.

très agréable maison

la maison est très agréable, perdue au milieu des champs, donc au calme tout en étant à proximité de st Pé sur Nivelle ou d'Ascain. le nécessaire est présent, et les propriétaires occupent la même maison, donc si nous avions eu un problème, ils étaient très gentils.

Bien ubicado - sehr gut gelegen

Wir verbrachten 1 Woche Anfang Mai in dem topgepflegten, modernen, gemütlichen und neuen Appartement im Haus Ihi Toki. Das App. ist sehr hell, auch wenn man drin frühstückt hat mein einen schönen Blick auf Berge, Wiesen und Ponys. Für uns war es die sehr gut gelegene Basis zwischen Bergen und Meer um das wunderschöne frz. und spanische Baskenland zu erkunden. Es werden sehr gute Informationen, ein kleiner, selbst erstellter Reiseführer mit Insider-Tipps zu Restaurants und Einkäufen, Sport und Sightseeing zur Verfügung gestellt. Unsere Cave ist nun gut mit spanischem Rotwein bestückt! Wir können das App. sehr empfehlen.

A DEUX PAS DE LA MER ET DE LA MONTAGNE

Appartement récent, clair, bien entretenu, dans un cadre reposant et bucolique. On se réveille doucement au chant du coq, on peut observer les vols des rapaces... Géographiquement, entre montagne et mer, cette location est idéalement placée pour ceux qui veulent sillonner et découvrir le Pays Basque. Et enfin, des propriétaires charmants et discrets.
