This place is a dump. Shame on Expedia for promoting this place. It was so bad that I left for another hotel, losing the money I paid for the room. It's all bad, dirty, matress was at least 25 years old, the bathroom is old dirty and smelling. DO NOT STAY THERE!

BEWARE! One of the worst places in San Angelo! When I arrived the exterior lights on the walkway to the room were pitch black I had to use my phone to go up the stairs and down the walkway. Secondly, I Saw a roach crawling in plain daylight near the front desk. I let the front desk lady know and she said nothing about it like it was something normal. Lastly when I was sitting in bed, a bug started crawling out of nowhere! That was the last straw so I packed my things and got a hotel elsewhere. Don’t even get me started on the condition of the room. -5/10

The only thing in the room that was clean were the sheets, bed bugs in the bathtub dripping faucets. The inside of the refrigerator with broken shelves don't like the pictures. Fool you. This place was filthy plus it had a broke window

This is an interesting place and I would consider staying there again. The location was convenient and being on the Concho River was nice. Our shower reminded me of what it must have been like for Buddy living with the elves! And water pressure made me reconsider washing my hair. The inside area with enclosed pool and games would be lots of fun with kids. The breakfast was very disappointing, but overall a decent place to stay on a budget. Staff was all very friendly.

Upon arrival, we were greeted with nice staff. They gave us the room keys. Went up to our room in the back of the property. The room next to ours had barking dogs. Then our keys didn’t work. Husband went and had them replaced. Asked for a different room because of the barking. They said they didn’t have another room available. Came back, these didn’t work so I took them back to front desk. They sent a maintenance man. He let us in and said he would replace batteries while we were gone and they would take care of the barking dogs as well. We got back later that night with still barking dogs and the dang keys still didn’t work! Husband went to front desk again. Maintenance man came, let us in. Apparently they changed the batteries but didn’t calibrate it with the cards. Just a frustrating experience. It was convenient to downtown but we won’t be back to stay at this place.

Overall, the Pearl on the Concho was pleasant. Staff was exceptionally friendly. Breakfast was fresh, omelette and biscuits were tasty! The only recommendation I would make would be to add a lighting system for the outside-exterior rooms hallway/walking area. Otherwise, it was sufficiently clean.

Some staff I encountered with where rude but not all I saw some smiles of some staff which made me stay the 4 days I had book. Their attitude was not going to affect my stay in San Angelo visiting my daughter.

This was the perfect stay for our girls trip with a mom, daughter and grandma. The hotel is nice and clean, but if you were looking for something new and fancy, this is probably not the place for you. The staff was super friendly and we felt very safe the entire time even though the parking area was a bit dark. Check-in was super easy and when we got to our room, we realized the AC unit was not working so we called the front desk and they came almost immediately and replaced the batteries in our remote control for it and that fixed the issue. The pool was awesome and the play area was great although we stayed in the middle of the week and there weren’t many kids there. There was just a few kids and that was perfect because we had it almost all to ourselves. The area was good and nearby several things that we wanted to do including the downtown area that had some great places to eat. The room was comfortable and clean and overall we had a great great stay..

Room could use updating, the bathtub had a crack in it. Room was clean. Staff was very friendly. We saw a mouse in the atrium area, and my 10 month old found a small dead bug and tried to eat it. I'm not afraid of mice or bugs but professional exterminators could be of use. Pool was nice and warm. I wish you would allow food in the atrium when the restaurant is not open, or make the hours of the restaurants longer and open earlier.

A great location for people with children and/or pets. Plenty of activities on the property for fun. On the Concho river. If traveling alone, and need quiet, this is not a place for you to stay, as music is played at a high volume until 10 pm ot later .
