Country charm in the city

Enjoy a relaxing weekend or weeknight staycation at our newly renovated and farmhouse chic vacation rental. This two bedroom and one and a half bath house is located with easy access to two major highways (281 & 1604) and plenty of amenities including grocery stores, shopping, a movie theater, ice skating, miniature golf and more! In a quiet established neighborhood lined with large oak trees, you and your loved ones can relax and enjoy a nature walk in the neighborhood park, play a round of tennis or even shoot some hoops. There are scenic views which often include loving neighborhood deer grazing in the nearby lawns. From the 280 sq. ft. air conditioned screen porch, you can enjoy a morning cup of coffee and bird watch or relax with a glass of wine following a day out and about in the lovely San Antonio and surrounding hill country.

The property is located 6.4 miles (10 minute drive) from the San Antonio International Airport, and 14 miles from downtown San Antonio (20 minute drive) which boasts many attractions such as the river walk, Alamo, Pearl district and nearby San Antonio Zoo, gardens and museums. To the west, you can visit Fiesta Texas (11 miles), La Cantera Shopping Mall, and Sea World (23 miles).

We had a lovely stay! The kitchen has a lot of functional cookware which is important to us when we travel. Cathy was very responsive for our couple questions. The front living space and back sunroom were nice to have with our two young boys who need some space to rest or play. There were a lot of small amenities available (coffee supplies, seasonings, washing machine pods, pitcher, hairdryer, shampoo/conditioner etc) - just really thoughtful. We will definitely rent again when we come back in town!

From the very moment I opened the door for the first time, this cute, little house was very inviting, felt like home, & smelled wonderful!! The welcome sign with our name on it was a wonderful surprise. The home had everything we needed, and then some. The beds were comfortable and sheets were pristine. Towels were thick and the hot water from the shower was a plus. Washer and dryer was a nice amenity. I took advantage of them so I didn’t have to wash dirty laundry when I got home. Free WiFi w/ the password was made available. Restaurants were close, neighborhood quiet, short drive to downtown for the Alamo and riverwalk. This was a sibling getaway & a celebration of our sisters birthday.I’d definitely book again at this property!!

What a find! Extremely clean family and pet friendly home. Fabulous location and yard. The kindness shown by the host for putting out snacks and bottled waters in refrigerator and great coffee station were appreciated. Great communication with host. Definitely want to stay here again.

Excellent stay overall! The city had a power outage while we were there (due to winds) and the owners were very communicative and quick to answer my questions! The space was very clean, had everything we needed, and the backyard was a huge enclosed space for our dog. We will definitely be back!

Clean, comfortable, perfect location. Only 10 minutes to the airport, 15 minutes to downtown, 5 minutes to church, and 10 minutes to our kid’s house. Multiple deer visited nearly every day. Nice, wooded area, so close to freeway but couldn’t hear a thing, maybe because of the oak trees?

What's not to like about this house! Lovely house in a lovely neighborhood with deer roaming the neighborhood! My dogs appreciated the oversized yard and room to roam in the house. Will definitely stay there again on my next visit to San Antonio!
