I lost my driver's license and had a temporary one from DMV that the manager would not accept because there was no picture. I had the reservation on my phone...showed him the settings page on my phone with my name and my picture and he still would not accept that it was me. Not only that but he was rude to my girlfriend and I saying (not) and telling my girlfriend to "stop talking now". I will NEVER go back to that property and considering dropping Marriott altogether.

The person that checked me in was so great and made me feel better about getting stuck overnight in SFO. The staff at the breakfast restaurant was also so nice and so fantastic.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating with my early check-in request. While the room was listed as soundproof, I wouldn’t fully agree with that description. I didn’t have issues with outside noise or neighbors, but I could hear airplanes, so it wasn’t completely soundproof. The room was not properly cleaned upon arrival. The carpet had minor stains, and the bathtub appears worn and discolored, likely in need of replacement. The bathroom towels should also be replaced, as some were ripped or had a dingy appearance. I would probably stay here again, but there are some areas that need improvement.

The room really shows its age and definitely needs some updates. The location is good but a bit too close to the SFO runways. We could hear the plane takeoff/landing from our room. Another issue was the noise from other rooms due to the poor soundproofing.

We stayed one night at the Westin SFO and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel was sophisticated and well designed. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Check in was a breeze and the restaurant was so good! Special kudos to our server, Bismarck, who was very friendly, attentive and professional, even though we showed up late in the evening. All in all, our night at the Westin was great!

Wonderful service especially cleaners and waitresses as well as some of the front desk. So helpful and so kind- going out of their way and doing more than is expected of them. Clean and mostly comfy. Only complaint small rooms and double beds are a squeeze to share !
