Great location for surfers with close proximity to beach. Noise (which other renters had made mention of) was not an issue for our 4-night stay. The location of the apartment is not close to the town’s affluent areas. Mgmt were super helpful and friendly.

Extended stay
We purposely chose the location based on past visits to San Sebastián and a pull to be close to the beach. Being in a busy area of cafes is an attraction , one also needs to be prepared for the vibrant noise that goes along with the activity in the evening. It was our third stay in that area ( 2 1/2 weeks this time) so there were no surprises .

Fantastic Property in Fun Neighbourhood
We stayed in this San Sebastián beach property for five days and loved it. The view onto the beach was fabulous, the apartment was immaculate and had everything we needed. Everything you want to see in San Sebastián is within walking distance. Below the apartment is al lively area with a handful of restaurants and coffee shops, including a place you can buy warm chocolate croissants in the morning and a tiny grocery store for essentials. Only negatives are, as others have mentioned, it can be noisy on the street and the window blinds do not block out the light. Nothing earplugs and eye covers can’t fix.

The apartment was excellent. Our only issue was the location above 2 bars. It was very noisy starting late afternoon and went on late into the evening.
The apartment was too bright for sleeping in the front bedroom due to the lack of shutters to block out the light from the street at night

Perfekte Lage und Ausstattung, etwas laut!
The apartment has an excellent location with a wonderful view to the west of the bay and the waves of "La Zurriola".
However, this location has the disadvantage that the noise of the bars can be heard until late in the evening. Street cleaning and garbage disposal come each night.
The apartment is on the ground floor of a residential building directly above a bar and has no balcony.
Right next to the house entrance is a small mini market with fresh fruit, bread and many groceries for daily needs.
There is little space to hang up laundry in one of the two small courtyards, where also a washing machine is located. At least you can store your surfboards here and there is even little space for a bike.
The kitchen equipment is functional. The devices are all there (filter coffee machine, capsule machine, toaster, hand blender, juicer, small microwave). The refrigerator is a bit small for four people and there is no oven.
Crockery and cutlery were sufficiently available, even quite good knives.
The apartment is very tastefully decorated, but we had to clear away the many decorative items and books to have space for our things.
Overall, we felt very comfortable there. The way to the beach couldn't be shorter and this wonderful city leaves nothing to be desired. Whether for shopping, hiking, mountain biking, surfing or enjoying the beach, we'd love to come back!
