Avis pour 2 Mi to Dtwn: Charming Sandusky Getaway w/ Hot Tub
The house is very cute, looks just as online a few issues that if fixed could really bump up the experience. The gate was locked so I couldnât get to the back door. thankfully the gate doesnât fully connect so I could just walk around the back yard but it felt weird plus it was a little muddy from the rain. 1st big issue was hot tub control panel was not working. Messaged the owner and she said she reached out to maintenance. After a couple hours I assumed we would not be able to use the hot tub. (It was to cold to use). Finally found the switch to turn it on (not on the control panel but in an electrical box). Got it working. When we got out the jets started to go nuts so we understood why it needed to be fully shut off because otherwise the jets sprayed water everywhere. I asked the contact if someone would be able service the hot tub or if there was a hose we could refill the hot tub with and she said it would be faster to do it ourselves. She told me where to find keys to a shed. I found two sets of keys. Neither to the shed. We did by chance find the hose in the opened garage. So it seems whoever services the house and the contact may not be the same person? There was also no hand soap in the downstairs bathroom so we just went to the kitchen to wash our hands. Last concern was the cleanliness. there was a whole papa Johnâs pizza box left in the oven thankfully we checked before preheating, kids toys laying outside, & confetti in hot tub. Fire pit was great, near a lot!
We tried to use the grill on Saturday to cook our steaks but when we turned the grill on (which the grates were not even scraped off and no cleaning utensils or cooking utensils for that matter were available) we could smell gas. When we looked it over to try and see if the hose was just not tight enough, it was discovered that the gas was leaking from the regulator so we were unable to use the grill at all.Yesterday morning, my son went to sit on the chair at the dining room table and when he pulled the chair out the front leg fell right off. Luckily it happened before he actually sat in it.I would also have to question the cleaning crew. There was a popcorn bag left in the front bedroom trash can as well as popcorn on the floor in the front and left side of the house bedrooms. The upstairs bathroom trash can had some questionable trash left in it. There were chunks of food and such on the kitchen floor, like it wasn't even swept. We had to search the house and ended up moving the upstairs furniture in order to locate the remote for the upstairs television which was on the floor underneath the one side of the pull out. All this points to not being cleaned properly after the last visitors or not cleaned at all. Add these things to the hot tub that smelled of mildew and had debris floating around in it, the kitchen cupboard door handle that fell off when we tried to open it, the missing fennell on the back porch railing, the cigarette butts in the rocks near the
