Hummingbird House, 3BD/2BA Charmer, Firepit, Patio

Hummingbird House is a recent renovation of a historic 1950 Stamm house, with all the charms of traditional Santa Fe plus the amenities and comforts of a new house. You will find a fabulous 3 BR and 2 BA home with individual AC in each room, spacious living, and a large outdoor patio with fire pit. Located in the heart of Santa Fe's "mid-town", Hummingbird House is walking distance to restaurants, and is only a 7 minute drive to The Plaza.

This charming renovation offers visitors a taste of mid-century Santa Fe. With customizable heating and air system, fully-stocked kitchen with stainless appliances and granite countertops, two bathrooms (one full bath, one 3/4 bath with walk-in shower) and outdoor living space with two seating areas, fire pit and landscaping, you can have it all. With the exception of some vintage, artisanal pieces, furnishings are new as are all linens.

While the home is compact at just over 1,000 square feet, it is cozy and comfortable and outside spaces make it live larger. It is ideal for 4 adults and two children, but can accommodate up to 6 adults.

This child and pet-friendly property has a completely walled/enclosed backyard. Up to two pets are allowed, but guests must first message the owner for pre-approval.

Walk to restaurants like the historic Pantry restaurant, Jambo Café, Baskin Robbins, El Portrillo Mexican, Matisse Bakery, Wecks family restaurant and more. The new Santa Fe bike trail passes through the neighborhood three blocks away allowing you easy access to The Railyard, Downtown and the rest of the city. Within 2 minutes drive are vintage furniture stores, art galleries, the Broken Spoke bike shop, retail stores and a grocery store. Driving times to other area amenities:

During renovation, under a full moon, 4 hummingbirds hovered over a flowering bush in the front yard. It was a magical moment and the House earned the name "Hummingbird House".

This place was fantastic! Bedrooms were great size, and had the perfect Santa Fe charm to it! Was centrally located to a lot of great shops, restaurants, rail yard and the plaza. Victor checked in with us multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this great place!

Our overall impression of the property was that it was utterly sublime. It is right off of a very popular road that gave my partner and I easy access to both downtown and remote areas in Santa Fe itself. The backyard was truly stunning. It provided an excellent balance between an art deco and more traditional layout, something that we have come to enjoy at our own home. Most notably, our very picky dog found the area to be irresistible. The owner even thought of him by providing a bathroom area so that he had no fear of relieving himself respectfully. We would certainly stay another time, and we hope more people choose to do the same.

I was happy with everything at Hummingbird House. My dog loved the fenced yard, plus we were a short walk from a large grassy park with a jogging trail, technically on-leash but we had the park to ourselves, so... The house was lovely! Modern kitchen, charming decor and completely quiet and peaceful. The king bed in the primary bedroom was great. I liked having a bathtub, even though "real cowboys don't take baths." The historic plaza was just a short drive away, or you could take a direct bus there for only 1. Our host was friendly, available and unobtrusive. I would definitely stay here again.

It was just enough! They didn't overdo it, and they did everything just right. Fans in the storage if you needed, same with heaters. Sound machines in the room was an awesome touch! Felt clean and had what we needed. We slept fine, no outdoor noise. I would stay here again, great location, could get anywhere in 10 minutes tops!

The home was nicely appointed, cozy and clean, with a lovely local SW decor. There were many "extra little touches" that made us feel welcomed and spoiled! We cooked every meal at the house, and did not miss anything that we needed. The set up is perfect for bringing your dog along, and they provide clean up materials for convenience. Was super convenient to all of our sight seeing needs both in SF and outside of town. Loved that each bedroom was different to suit different needs, and each has its own temperature control. The host was very easily to communicate with and very responsive. 12 out of 10, and I would easily stay again when visiting SF!

Honest Five Stars.

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was my mom and I and our two best friends. We had plenty of room. Beds are great, bathrooms are great, and the cutest place to match the town. Our favorite thing about the rental was the back yard. I brought my small dog and he loved the back yard. Very comfortable and completely fenced in. Neighbors were welcoming and we loved the neighborhood. We walked over to the El Rey Court for coctails and that was our favorite night just staying in the neighborhood. The host was thoughtful and always replied quickly. Ten out of ten. Especially if you travel with your pet. You can be at the square in less than ten minutes. Just a few lights away from whole foods and the railyard was super close. We were able to go back and forth several times a day with no hassle.

Oasis in the City

The Hummingbird House was an ideal location for our family getaway to Santa Fe. We thoroughly enjoyed our quiet mornings and warm evenings on the patio. The home is cozy and welcoming and has everything you need for a long weekend away. It is close to everything and Victor provided some very helpful info about some of the favorite places in town. Victor was very responsive when we reached out and made us feel like his special guests.

There were four ladies in our group aged 66-90 to attend the Santa Fe Opera!This home was cozy, but spacious enough for us to enjoy being with each other or finding time alone on the huge back porch!Kitchen was well appointed
there wasn’t anything we needed that wasn’t there.The back porch was a great place to read a book or take a nap after a morning on the Plaza!We were close enough to everything Santa Fe
we didn’t drive more than 15 minutes to get anywhere around town.You will enjoy your stay at this charming home!

Charming Home in Santa Fe

My friend and I celebrated our birthdays at this charming home in Santa Fe. We loved both the indoor and outdoor spaces and had an excellent time exploring the area. This is a definite recommend.

Comfy house with plenty of space

We all really enjoyed our stay here. It was too cold to use the back patio, but it looked really lovely. When I return to Santa Fe in warmer weather, I'll definitely check to see if this home is available. The neighborhood looked like it as up and coming, but we never felt unsafe, and restaurants and coffee shops were within easy walking distance.
