WHY US:
With starfish in the windows and its coffee color, this large Old Florida Village home conjures up a funky, fun Prince song - Starfish & Coffee! Fun, fun, fun (and relaxation) is what you'll find at the beach, along 30A, and in the sanctuary of our beach home. We genuinely hope Starfish & Coffee will become a cherished part of your vacation adventures for years to come.

THE HOUSE:
Is BIG! And Private! With 2200 sq. ft., the house is one of the largest in Old Florida Village and located on a large, tucked-away lot that offers privacy and nature views. Each bedroom has extra space, making it nice to spend time there - get that personal R&R on your family vacation. The kitchen is well-stocked for cooking and serving full meals (if you choose!).

There are 3 bedrooms plus a 3rd story loft that is great for kids or singles to have their own space.
Starfish & Coffee sleeps 10 in beds:
2 Kings (both 2nd floor bedrooms)
1 Queen (first floor bedroom)
2 Twin bunk beds (4 single beds) in the loft
*Each bedroom is equipped with a TV and DVD player.
*Quality bed linens, bath towels (2/person) and beach towels (1/person) are provided.
*Each bedroom has room for a pack-n-play or crib.

EXTRAS, EXTRAS, READ ALL ABOUT THEM:
We like kids and grandparents (and parents too) and try to make travelling easy! The house is equipped with kid essentials including a high chair, baby gates, a pack-n-play with sheets, BPA-free kid's dinnerware, beach and home toys, and a Wii game system. For anyone needing one-floor living, we have a first floor bedroom with a full bath. Kids will enjoy their personal space in the 3rd floor tower room (the pirate's cove).

OLD FLORIDA VILLAGE NEIGHBORHOOD:
A quaint neighborhood of 75 cottage-style homes on a quiet loop just a few yards north of 30A and the beach. Starfish & Coffee is toward the front of the neighborhood, making it just a short walk (about 10 minutes) to the beach. Parking for cars and bikes is available at nearby beach access points:

*Gulfview Heights Access - 0.5 miles, car/bike parking, lifeguard in peak season, turn at Goatfeathers
*Spooky Lane Access - 0.4 miles, bike parking only
*Ed Walline Access at Gulf Place - 0.6 miles, ADA accessible, car/bike parking, lifeguard in peak season.

Kids already begging to swim? Visitors have 2 POOLS to choose from - Starfish & Coffee is across the street from the larger pool. You can easily keep an eye on your bunch at the pool from the upstairs porch.

GO, SEE, DO:
A perfect trip to Old Florida Village includes bike rentals from Big Daddy's Bike Shop (just up the street or home delivery!), mid-morning coffee and family movie night at Gulf Place, long beach days and dinner at The Local Catch and Stinky's Fish Camp (much more delicious than the name implies!). We love the beach and love to explore the area, finding new adventures to recommend for our visitors.

In addition to wonderful beaches, Scenic 30A offers hiking, biking, kayaking, and paddle boarding in nearby Topsail Hill Preserve State Park, Grayton Beach State Park and Deer Lake State Park. The small communities along 30A, such as Gulf Place, Grayton Beach, Watercolor, Seaside, Seacrest, and Rosemary Beach offer charming year-round family events, dining, and boutique shopping. This area is great for casual, laid-back beach vacations or as a beautiful setting for your special events and celebrations.

Santa Rosa Golf & Beach Club is just around the corner - great for girls or guys long weekends! With just a bit of driving along 30A or into the Sandestin area, you can golf a different course each day. If starting or keeping a fitness routine is your thing, the running and biking path along 30A (18-mile Timpoochee Trail) or in the state parks is a gorgeous, nature-lovers setting! This is also a great home and community for artists, writers and crafty folks to find quiet and inspiration.

Hwy 98 is less than 5 driving minutes away and provides lots of dining and shopping and cinemas at Grand Boulevard, Baytowne Wharf, Sandestin, Miramar Beach, and Destin. Or head the other way on Hwy 98 and be in Panama City Beach in 20 minutes. Here you'll find the new international airport, boat tours, kid fun, restaurants, shopping. And did we mention the awe-inspiring sugar white sand and emerald water beaches that we can't get enough of?

Perfect Family Beach vacation

Our stay was amazing! There were 8 adults, 2 infants, and 2 dogs and there was plenty of room for all! The pool across the street from the house was perfect for the babies to cool off. We enjoyed walking to Gulf Place, the beach and a few other local places for coffee and ice cream. The host thought of everything to make our trip perfect!

Perfect spot

This is our third time staying in a house in Old Florida Village and this is our favorite one yet. The house is set back from the street a bit more than others and it has a car port for your car. There's a garage, unlike most other houses, and it's full of useful things to use at the beach. The loft with two bunk beds was a great area for the kids. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We love this neighborhood and area on 30A. We like the home feel and the 2 pools and easy access to the restaurants and shops. A gulf cart away from the beach and we love walking places. We just wished it was a little cleaner. Too much carpet which seemed just dirty.

First off Amy (owner) was awesome to deal with. The house was beautiful with every extra you could ever need. Wonderfully stocked kitchen. Close to the beach and shops. The neighborhood is so cute. 2 ac units is an awesome extra. Being able to cool upstairs without freezing downstairs.

Love Love Love!

We had the best time at Starfish & Coffee! As soon as we walked in the whole house was perfectly clean and even smelled good. We saw absolutely NO bugs which is unusual for Florida. We've stay at other properties in this same subdivision and this was by far our favorite! The pool is right across the drive, the shed with all of the beach stuff was amazing, the house is very well equipped and the rooms are big. And the beds are super comfy! Highly recommend this awesome vacation retreat :)

A wonderful vacation

We loved our stay at Starfish and Coffee. There was plenty of room for our large party. The accommodations were welcoming and relaxing. We were just a short distance from the beach and had so many wonderful supplies to use. Our kids loved the pool being just steps away from the house. We are already planning our return.

We keep coming back!

What a great place to spend a week with teenaged grandchildren! The house is immaculate and roomy. It's right on the bike path so teenagers can bike to the nearby coffee shop and to the beach. The pool is practically in our front yard...beautiful and clean. Adults enjoyed the porches, quiet and airy for early morning reading. A wonderful week!

Love this neighborhood and this house

We have been staying in this neighborhood for 8 years and loved this house. The floor plan is the best in the neighborhood and the house was well equipped with anything you would need. It is a perfect house to rent if you are flying into the area for a beach trip. All you need is clothes and this house has everything else. It is well maintained and up to date.

Great memories!!

My family just left the beach and are already missing “our” wonderful beach house. The owner Amy has the perfect place to stay! She provides so much for the renters - beach towels, beach chairs, sand toys, games, video games and a well stocked kitchen. Also our bed was sooo comfortable. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a rental home where the bed was as comfortable as ours at home. The pool is literally across the street from the house. The only downside was the distance to the beach. However we just loaded everything in the back of our suv and drove over to the beach. We never had a problem finding a parking space and the beach access had restrooms which was another perk! We just loved Starfish and Coffee! We made some great family memories. Thanks Amy for everything!! We will definitely be back!!

Like Home Only Better

Well stocked kitchen, very comfortable beds, plenty of room. The balcony off the master perfect for relaxing with coffee or wine and cheese. Also very kid friendly plenty of toys, video games, board games (adult, too). This was our 2nd year in this house and we are looking forward to next year.

House with plenty of room

We enjoyed our time in this home as it had plenty of room for all of us. My king bed was extremely comfortable, which is important as I’m getting older. The kitchen had everything that we needed for the week. Providing beach towels and beach chairs was a plus! Loved having the pool across the street and being able to walk to ice cream and coffee. Spring break with family

This house has everything you need for a family trip to the beach. There are beach toys and beach chairs in the garage. There are plenty of beach towels. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals: crock pot, can openers, pans, pots, plates, cups, coffee maker, cutting boards, knives, etc. There is a Weber gas grill outside. It's a beautiful home. Everything was clean and tidy when we arrived. The loft on the top floor is perfect for kids. It has bunk beds and lots of toys. The pool is directly across the street from the house. The beach is a short walk from the house, about a quarter of a mile to a third of a mile. The neighborhood is quiet. My family truly enjoyed our stay.

Amazing week at a wonderful home!

We were blown away by our stay. The house was clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked, and the area was so peaceful! Our entire family that came had nothing but great things to say. We absolutely loved that all of the beach chairs, towels, a wagon, and toys were provided. It helped so much so that we didn’t have to tote along our own. The walk to the beach was not bad at all! We will definitely be recommending this home to anyone who’s looking in this area!

Amazing, As Always!

Our favorite place on 30A for 4 years now. Amy is the best owner we've worked with and makes your stay so easy to just show up and enjoy the beach and area. Everything you need from kitchen supplies and appliances to beach toys, chairs, and strollers. There's even a pack-n-play and highchair for families with young kids. We already have the dates for next year reserved and can't wait to get back.

Great location, clean property, very comfortable

No complaints here! The beds were all very comfortable and there is plenty of room for guests to relax and enjoy their vacation. Right across the street from the pool and a very short distance to the beach. The garage is packed with beach fun goodies including umbrellas, a cart/wagon, toys, floats, etc.

Nice Getaway with Friends
